Presque Isle, ME Flower Delivery

Birthdays and Anniversaries in Presque Isle

An order placed for a birthday here goes straight to a florist near the recipient, who makes the design by hand from the photo you picked. It is carried to the door, not shipped, and once the arrangement is finished, a picture of it is sent to you so you know what is on its way before the doorbell rings.

For a birthday, the home address and a phone number are usually enough. For an anniversary, roses or a design in the couple's colors are the common choice, and a card that mentions the year they married adds something no extra stem can.

Get well orders can go to the home or to a workplace. A small plant often does better than cut flowers for someone who will be recovering for a while, and a thank you bouquet for a teacher or a coach is easiest to receive at the school office.

Presque Isle and Its Nearby Towns

The town lies in Aroostook County, ME, which has about 66,776 residents across 6,671 square miles, a lot of ground for one county in Maine. The county seat is Houlton, and the county itself has no page on this site, so Presque Isle addresses are handled right here.

Two nearby towns do have pages: Caribou, ME, in the same county, and Patten, ME. The page for Penobscot County, ME lists the towns there, and Washington County, ME has a page of its own.

For any other address in the state, the Maine delivery page lists each town that can be reached. A quick look there settles whether a relative's town has its own listing.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Presque Isle ME

Same day flower delivery in Presque Isle needs the order in before 1 PM Eastern time, the zone the recipient lives in. Readers on Central time will see that deadline arrive at noon. For a Mountain time sender it is 11 AM on the kitchen clock.

Anyone on Pacific time has the least room of all: 10 AM is the line. Deliveries go out Monday through Saturday, and no delivery is made on a Sunday, whatever the occasion.

Arrangements reach the door between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a preferred time can be noted as a request but not promised. An order placed after 1 PM Eastern on a weekday is set for the next day, and one placed after that hour on Saturday is set for Monday.

Sympathy Flowers and Service Arrangements

Funeral flowers in Presque Isle usually go to the funeral home or to the family. Bowers Funeral Home is in town, and flowers for a service there should include the name of the person who died, the date and the start time of the service.

A standing spray or a wreath is made for the service, while a vase arrangement or a plant suits the family home. Because Sunday delivery is not offered, a Sunday service in Aroostook County needs its flowers delivered on the Saturday before.

Sympathy flowers sent a week or two after the funeral are often welcome, once the house has gone quiet and the cards have stopped arriving. A plant or a small vase design suits that moment better than anything large, and the card can simply say you are thinking of them.

Home, Office and Apartment Deliveries

For a house in the 04769 ZIP code, add the recipient's phone number and any landmark that helps, such as a side entrance or a mailbox set back from the road. Apartments in 04769 need a unit number, plus the buzzer code where there is one. If the building has a front office, name it, since a vase is safer there than in a hallway.

An office delivery should name both the business and the person. If the recipient works shifts, a home address may be the better choice, since a desk can stand empty for a whole afternoon.

To send flowers to Presque Isle for a colleague, a low vase design is easy to keep on a desk and easy to carry home afterward.

Picking an Arrangement by Size

People searching for a flower shop in Presque Isle or a florist in Presque Isle find no storefront to walk into. The order is placed online, and a Presque Isle florist near the recipient makes it by hand. Choosing online has one advantage over a counter: every size is shown side by side, with the price for each.

In the catalog of arrangements, a design can be ordered in a small, medium or larger version. For a Presque Isle home the medium version is a fair default, and the small one suits a hospital room or a nursing home bedside, where a tray table is all the space there is.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. For flower delivery in Presque Isle, ME, the photo of the finished piece is sent to you after it is made.
