Caribou, ME Flower Delivery by Hand

Caribou and the Towns Nearby

Here is what follows an order for Caribou flower delivery. The details you enter go to a florist close to the recipient in Aroostook County, ME, who builds the design by hand from the picture you chose. It then travels to the door in its vase rather than in a carton, and after the florist has made it, a photo of the arrangement is sent to you.

The town belongs to Aroostook County, a county of 6,671 square miles and about 66,776 residents. Its county seat is Houlton, and Aroostook has no separate county page here, so every address carrying the 04736 ZIP code is handled on this page instead. That is worth knowing if a search sent you looking for a county listing first.

One neighbor with a page of its own is Presque Isle, ME, which shares the county. The pages for Penobscot County, ME and Washington County, ME list the towns there, and the Maine delivery page gathers the rest of the state in one place.

How Substitution Works Here

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. Care is taken by the Caribou florist to keep each order as similar as possible to the design pictured in the catalog, in color and in overall outline.

So a bouquet built around white lilies might arrive with a different white bloom standing in for them, while the vase, the size and the shape stay as ordered. The type of arrangement is never swapped: a bouquet stays a bouquet, and a basket stays a basket.

The photo sent after the arrangement is made shows which stems went in, so a sender a long way from 04736 is not left guessing about what reached the door. It is also a handy thing to have if you want to describe the flowers on a phone call with the recipient later that evening.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Caribou ME

For same day flower delivery in Caribou, the order has to be in before 1 PM Eastern time, the clock the recipient in Maine lives by. A sender on Central time sees that line fall at noon on their own clock. On Mountain time it is 11 AM, and on the West Coast it comes at 10 AM.

Deliveries run Monday through Saturday; Sunday delivery is not available, so a birthday that lands on a Sunday is best covered by a Saturday drop-off. Arrangements arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM on those six days, and the exact moment within that span depends on the route.

A preferred time of day can be noted as a request, though no exact hour can be promised. An order that misses the 1 PM Eastern line is set for the following delivery day, which after a Saturday means Monday.

Birthdays, Get Well Wishes and Thank Yous

Most people who send flowers to Caribou are marking something ordinary and personal: a birthday, an anniversary, a thank you to a neighbor who helped with a move. Add the recipient's phone number to the order, since a rural house number can be hard to spot from the road.

Get well flowers often head to Cary Medical Center. Include the patient's full name and, if you know it, the room number, and keep the design modest so it fits beside a bed. A small vase or a green plant tends to suit a patient room better than a large display.

For an anniversary, a card that names the year or the place the couple met says more than a few extra stems. A birthday bouquet in the recipient's favorite colors is the simplest way to make the choice personal, and a short card line in your own words beats a long borrowed verse.

Sympathy Flowers for a Caribou Family

Funeral flowers in Caribou can go to the service or to the family home, and the order should say which. Give the name of the person who died, the date and starting time of the service, and the family surname if the arrangement is going to the house.

Standing sprays and wreaths suit a service, while a vase arrangement or a peace lily fits a living room and lasts beyond the day itself. With no Sunday deliveries, flowers for a Sunday service anywhere in Aroostook County have to arrive on the Saturday before it.

Sympathy flowers do not have to arrive before the funeral at all. A plant sent to the family a couple of weeks later, once the house has gone quiet, is often the one they remember.

Picking a Size for the Room

People searching for a florist in Caribou or a flower shop in Caribou often picture a counter with buckets of stems. There is no storefront here to walk into; the order is placed online and a florist near the recipient makes it. Every design in the catalog of arrangements is offered in more than one size, with a photo beside each.

For a home, a mid-sized vase design is an easy start. For a room at Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center or a hospital tray table, pick the smallest size, since space is tight. For a front desk at work, something low and wide stays out of the way of the paperwork.

What you pay covers the arrangement itself; the delivery charge appears at checkout. Whichever size you pick, flower delivery in Caribou, ME is arranged by hand, and the photo of the finished piece is sent to you once it is made.
