Ellsworth, ME Flower Delivery, Monday to Saturday

Picking Flowers for an Ellsworth Recipient

Several towns with their own pages lie a drive away from Ellsworth, including Belfast, ME and Bangor, ME. An address in town, though, belongs here, and so does the choice of what to send. The arrangements in the catalog each show a photo and several sizes, which makes the first decision a practical one: how much room the recipient has.

For a house, a mid-sized vase design is a reliable start. For a patient room, go smaller, and for an office reception desk, a low, wide shape stays clear of the phone and the paperwork. A plant or a basket makes sense for someone who travels a lot, since it copes with a few days of neglect better than a vase of cut stems.

A florist in Ellsworth or close by builds the design by hand. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and the likeness to the pictured design is kept as close as the stems allow.

Funeral Flowers and Condolence Pieces

Funeral flowers in Ellsworth go either to the service or to the family. For a service, the order should include the name of the person who died, the date and start time, and the place where it is being held. For a family home, add the surname on the mailbox.

A standing spray, a wreath or a casket piece is made for the service. A vase arrangement or a plant is better for the home, where it can stay on after the guests leave and the casseroles are cleared away.

With no deliveries made on a Sunday, flowers meant for a Sunday service in Hancock County should be set for the Saturday before. A card signed with the whole family's names is a simple kindness that costs nothing extra.

Birthdays, New Babies and Get Well Wishes

Most flowers sent here mark happier days. A birthday bouquet in the recipient's favorite colors, a small arrangement for new parents, or a plant for someone at home after surgery are the usual orders.

For new parents, a compact design is easier to live with than a large one, and a plant asks little of people who are short on sleep. Add both parents' names to the card if you know them, and send it to the home rather than the maternity ward, where space and visiting rules vary. Get well flowers should go to wherever the person is resting that day, home or hospital.

To send flowers to Ellsworth for an anniversary, roses or a mixed design in the couple's colors are a common pick, with a card that mentions the year they married or the place they met.

Hospital, Office and Home Addresses

Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital is in town, and flowers for a patient there should carry the patient's full name and, if you know it, the room number. A small vase design fits a bedside table best.

Ellsworth is the county seat of Hancock County, ME, which covers 1,587 square miles and has about 56,946 residents. An office delivery, including one to a county office, should name the department as well as the person, so the arrangement does not sit at a front desk waiting to be claimed.

For a house in the 04605 ZIP code, add the recipient's phone number and any landmark that helps. A rural address a few miles out of the center takes longer to reach, and the note may save a wrong turn. For a summer rental or a guest house, include the name the stay is booked under, because the owner's name may be the one on the mailbox.

Surrounding Towns With Their Own Pages

Hancock County has no page of its own on this site, so this page covers addresses in the county seat, and nearby towns are handled on their own pages. For an address in Brewer, ME, start there instead.

The page for Penobscot County, ME lists the towns in that county, and Washington County, ME has its own page too. For anywhere else, the Maine delivery page is the index.

People who search for a flower shop in Ellsworth, or for an Ellsworth florist, find no storefront to walk into. The order is placed online and handled by a florist close to the recipient, and the choice of design happens on the screen in front of you rather than at a counter. The upside is that you can compare every size side by side before deciding.

Same day flower delivery in Ellsworth needs the order in before 1 PM Eastern time, which is the time kept across Maine. Converted to a sender's own clock, that is noon on Central time. Mountain time senders should read it as 11 AM, and Pacific time senders as 10 AM.

The delivery week is Monday through Saturday, Sunday is not a delivery day, and arrangements are brought to the door between 9 AM and 7 PM. A preferred time can be noted as a request in the order, but it cannot be promised.

For flower delivery in Ellsworth, ME, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you after the florist has made it, at no extra charge. An order placed after that hour moves to the next open delivery day for 04605.
