Belfast, ME Flower Delivery by Hand

Birthdays, Anniversaries and Housewarmings

Belfast is the seat of Waldo County, ME, a county of about 40,617 people across 730 square miles, and it is a name shared with other places, so it is worth checking the address first. If the recipient's mail says Belfast with the 04915 ZIP code, this is the right page.

Most people who send flowers to Belfast are marking a birthday, an anniversary or a move into a new house. Birthday flowers in Waldo County tend toward bright mixes, and the card should spell the name the way its owner does. For an anniversary, the couple's own colors and the year they married on the card say a great deal, more than an upgrade in size.

For a housewarming, a green plant or a vase design that can sit on a windowsill works better than a tall piece that needs a spare table in a house still full of boxes.

Belfast also has neighbors a sender may mean instead. The county next door has its own page, Kennebec County, ME, and a town such as Ellsworth, ME is covered separately, so a quick look at the ZIP on the envelope saves a misdirected order.

Picking a Design for Belfast

Anyone who searches for a flower shop in Belfast, or a florist in Belfast, may picture a counter with buckets of stems. There is no storefront to walk into; the choosing happens in the catalog of arrangements, and a florist near the recipient builds the one you pick by hand.

Each design comes in several sizes. A house on a quiet street usually takes the middle size of a vase design. Patients and care home residents are better served by the smallest size, which leaves room on the tray. For an office, something upright reads better across a reception desk.

What you pay for the design is shown up front, and the delivery charge for the 04915 address is added at checkout. A Belfast florist arranges each order by hand, and it is carried to the door rather than shipped in a box and left on the porch.

Substitutions and the Photo

Because the arrangement is made near the recipient, flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand. The size, the shape and the value of the arrangement stay as you chose them, and the utmost care is taken to keep the design close to the listing.

A substitution is usually a similar bloom in a matching color, so a blue and white design keeps its palette even if one variety is swapped for another. A rose design keeps its roses wherever the stems allow.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it is sent to you at no extra charge. For a sender outside Maine, that picture shows exactly what reached the house in the 04915 ZIP code, down to which stems went in.

Sympathy Flowers and Funeral Pieces

Funeral flowers in Belfast go either to the service or to the family's home. The order should name the person who died, the place, date and starting hour of the service, and the family name if the flowers are headed for a house in Waldo County.

A standing spray or a wreath is made for the service; a vase design or a plant suits the family's living room. Because nothing is delivered on Sundays, a Sunday service needs flowers ordered for the Saturday before it.

Sympathy flowers can also arrive later. A modest arrangement sent a week or two after the funeral, when the house has gone quiet, often stays with a family longer than any piece at the service.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Belfast ME

Same day flower delivery in Belfast follows the local clock. Orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time reach the recipient the same business day; anything later goes out on the next one. For a sender on Central time that line falls at noon, and on Pacific time at 10 AM.

Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available anywhere in Waldo County. Arrangements arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a preferred hour can be noted as a request, though it cannot be promised.

Around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter, the same-day line for Belfast orders can come earlier, so a holiday gift for someone in Maine is safer placed a day ahead.

Hospital, Care Home and House Addresses

For Mainehealth Waldo Hospital, write the patient's full name and a room number if you have one, and choose a compact design. For Harbor Hill Center, include the resident's full name and a relative's phone number, and keep the arrangement low.

Flower delivery in Belfast, ME to a private house needs the house number, the road name and the recipient's phone number. For a workplace, name the department and choose a weekday, when someone will be there between 9 AM and 7 PM.

If the recipient actually lives in a nearby town, start from that town's page: Rockland, ME and Bangor, ME both have one. The Penobscot County, ME page lists the towns in that county, and the Maine delivery page covers the rest of the state.
