Hollandale, MS Flower Delivery by a Local Florist

Flowers carried to a Hollandale door, not shipped in a box

A boxed shipment and a hand-delivered arrangement are different things, and in a small town the difference shows. Flower delivery in Hollandale, MS means a local florist arranges the flowers by hand and they are carried to the address on the order, already in a vase.

That matters here because the 2020 count of 2,332 people on about 2.2 square miles makes an order feel personal. The recipient's neighbors may see the delivery, and an arrangement that arrives assembled looks like a gift, not a parcel.

Same day flower delivery in Hollandale needs the order before 1 PM Central time, counted on the recipient's clock. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available, so the last chance before Monday is Saturday.

Hollandale flower delivery rewards a clear first line. The recipient's full name, the street and the ZIP come first, the landmark second, the card text last. A sender who gets those four right rarely has to answer a phone call. A box sits on a porch until someone notices it. A vase is handed over, which is why the notes matter: give a name for whoever may sign, and a phone number in case the porch light is off. Nothing in that exchange needs the sender to be present, only a set of notes that is complete.

Greenville is the seat, but Hollandale has its own listing

The town lies in Washington County, MS, and Greenville, MS is the seat. Metcalfe and Leland are also in the county, so a relative in one of them may need a different listing from this one. A county seat often holds the courthouse and the larger offices, so an order for an office in Greenville needs a company name and a suite, while a house in Hollandale needs only a surname and a street.

Across the state line, Chicot County, AR is an Arkansas county with its own addresses and florists. Bolivar County, MS and Sunflower County, MS are Mississippi neighbors. A sender who knows only the county has not yet chosen a town.

ZIP code 38748 covers the town. The Mississippi index lists the other towns of the state for senders who are ordering in more than one place.

Someone who searched Hollandale MS for a flower shop in Hollandale will find that the order form on this page does the job of a counter, and that a florist near the recipient makes the piece.

When the recipient lives in Anguilla, Leland or Isola

A recipient who says Hollandale may live closer to Anguilla, MS, Leland, MS or Isola, MS, each listed as its own town. Rolling Fork and Inverness are nearby too, and the envelope decides which listing fits.

If the mailing address names another town, use that town's listing. The florist is chosen near the recipient, so an order written for one town but addressed to another starts from the wrong assumption.

Florists near Hollandale cover Hollandale addresses, and florists in the neighboring towns cover theirs. A family with relatives in three towns needs three orders, each with a card written for its own door, and each made by a florist in Hollandale or near the town where it lands.

The delivery fee applies once per order to one address, so a bouquet and a plant for the same house can travel together. Anything for a second address is a second order.

An anniversary on Saturday, a card on the table

An anniversary in Hollandale that falls on a Sunday is best marked with Saturday flowers, between 9 AM and 7 PM, since Sunday delivery is not available. A card that says the day is tomorrow makes the early delivery part of the surprise.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. The florist takes care to keep the result as close as possible to the one ordered.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once the florist has made it, at no extra charge, so a sender in another city sees what was left. Sympathy flowers to Hollandale and other gifts follow the same photo rule.

Family gatherings make the case for early orders. A graduation or a church anniversary fills a small town's roads with cars, and a delivery that arrives in the crowd can go unnoticed, so flower deliveries for a busy day belong on the quiet side of it: the day before, or the following morning. To send flowers to Hollandale for an anniversary, choose a size that fits a dining table, and browse the arrangement catalog for options. Order flowers with a short, dated card, and flowers delivered for the evening can be requested for the later window, though no hour is promised.
