Drew, MS Flower Delivery, Same Day Possible

A longer drive to the door: Drew's rural addresses

Not every address in this Mississippi town is on a street with a neighbor on each side. Some flowers delivered here go to a house reached by a gravel road, and for those a florist needs the full street address, the ZIP, 38737, and a line about which drive to take.

Towns with pages of their own lie in several directions: Ruleville, MS, Renova, MS and Cleveland, MS are the nearest, with Mound Bayou, MS and Shelby, MS a little beyond. A sender who knows only a rural route number can still find the right page by checking the ZIP on the recipient's mail.

Because the drive can be longer, arrival may fall later in the window. The window is between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available.

Delivery inside 1.122 square miles

With 1,845 people counted in 2020 on 1.122 square miles of land, the town keeps its flower deliveries inside a compact grid of streets, and a search for Drew MS usually means one of those addresses. A street name plus a house number is usually enough for the florist to find the door.

Same day flower delivery in Drew depends on one thing: the order is placed before 1 PM Central time, on the recipient's clock. That matters for senders in other states, who may be an hour or two off when they order.

Flower delivery in Drew, MS is arranged by a florist in Drew or one close by, and the piece is carried to the door by hand, not posted. Drew flower delivery of this kind works the same way across Mississippi, from the smallest town to the county seat.

Telling Indianola orders from Drew orders

The town belongs to Sunflower County, MS, where Indianola is the seat, and Inverness, Moorhead, Ruleville and Sunflower are the other towns listed. A sender who has heard the name Sunflower from a relative may be thinking of the county or the town, and each has its own page.

Four neighboring counties touch Sunflower. Leflore County, MS and Bolivar County, MS are two of them, and Washington County, MS with Coahoma County, MS make up the rest. A recipient with a farm address may live in one of them and receive mail that names Drew.

Mississippi addresses often carry a county or a rural route in the first line, which is why a second look at the ZIP is worthwhile. Check the ZIP and the town printed on the recipient's last piece of mail. Those two lines decide the page, and once an order is placed it cannot be moved to another town.

Swapped stems leave size and value alone

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. A catalog image shows the style, and the bloom in it may be replaced by a close relative in the same color family.

For an order here this matters in small ways. A local florist works from what is available, and a rose in the picture may become a carnation in the vase without the price or the size changing at all.

Notes can ask for a color. They cannot promise a variety, and they do not change the cutoff or the days of delivery.

Seeing the finished bouquet before it reaches the door

After the florist has made the piece, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent at no extra charge. It shows the real flowers, not the catalog picture, so a sender knows what is being carried to the door.

People who order flowers for a parent from two states away rely on the photo more than anything else. It is proof that the work happened, and it gives something to talk about on the phone.

If the photo shows a problem, the complaint can be raised within three days of delivery, and a replacement, a refund or a partial credit can follow.

Potted plant or cut stems for someone in Drew

A potted plant suits a house with a bright window and a recipient who likes something that stays on the sill, while cut stems suit a short, cheerful visit. For a get well visit, cut flowers brighten a room quickly, and for a new baby, a plant that stays around is a softer gift.

For a birthday or an anniversary in Drew, cut stems in a vase suit most senders, and the card carries the message. To send flowers to Drew from another state, browse the arrangements by size and pick what suits the room.
