What 1.499 square miles means for a flower order

With 523 residents in 2020 and 1.499 square miles, this is a very small place, and its orders go to houses on a short list of streets. The address line tells the florist where to stop, and a gate or a long drive deserves a line in the notes.

Flower deliveries with more than one item going to the same address in a single order are charged one delivery fee, so a bouquet and a plant can travel together. A recipient who is away during the day can ask for the order to go to a workplace instead. Deliveries land anywhere in the 9 AM to 7 PM window, so a note about who will be home is useful. A specific hour can be written in the notes as a request, never as a promise, and the person delivering does what the day allows.

A florist in Sunfish Lake or close by builds each arrangement, and a florist near Sunfish Lake delivers it in person. Anyone hunting for a flower shop in Sunfish Lake will find no counter on this site.

How a florist handles a stem that is not in stock

Flower types may be substituted for what a local florist has on hand. The size, the shape and the value of the arrangement do not change, and the design stays close to the picture in the arrangement catalog.

Anyone with a color in mind can write it in the notes. It is a request, and the florist works toward it with the stems available, although a particular bloom cannot be promised.

For a birthday in Sunfish Lake, a mixed bouquet in the recipient's favorite color is a safe choice. For an anniversary, a low arrangement suits a dinner table better than a tall one.

Seeing the arrangement that was actually made

The florist finishes the arrangement and a photo goes out to whoever placed the order, free of charge. Because it was taken of the finished piece, it is the quickest way to see what a swapped stem looked like in the vase.

Flowers are perishable, so a problem is best reported in the three days after delivery. Depending on the case, a replacement, a refund or a partial credit can follow. For funeral flowers in Sunfish Lake, the order goes to the place holding the service, under the family's surname.

Whether the order is a thank-you, a congratulations or a get well note, flowers delivered by hand read as more personal than a box from a warehouse. Order flowers with a line on the card that only the recipient would understand, and the card carries the personal part.
