Rice Lake, MN Flower Delivery, Hand-Delivered

Another Rice Lake exists; the state settles it

Another town called Rice Lake sits in Wisconsin, and a sender who types only the name into an order form can end up aimed at the wrong state. On this page the state is Minnesota and the ZIP is 55803, and both should be visible on the order summary.

Douglas County, WI is on the Wisconsin side of the state line and has a page of its own for flower orders, but it is a separate place from this one. Flower delivery in Rice Lake, MN is for Minnesota addresses only, and an order for a Wisconsin recipient belongs on the page for that state.

Two details give the answer on any form: MN on the state line and 55803 as the ZIP. If either is missing, stop and add it, because a florist needs a full address before an arrangement can be made.

Searches for a flower shop in Rice Lake sometimes return results from the other state. A florist in Rice Lake, Minnesota arranges the piece here, by hand, for an address that matches the ZIP above, and florists near Rice Lake send a photo once it is made.

A sender shopping from a phone may see the state abbreviation only in small type, so scroll to the order summary before paying and read the state line. Rice Lake MN, with the state written after the name and no comma, is also how many people search, and the form on this page reads the same way.

Addresses spread across a wide town

The land area is 32.104 square miles and the 2020 population was 4,104, so flower delivery in Rice Lake, MN often means an address with some distance between neighbors: houses with long drives, properties set back from the road, and a few clusters where buildings sit close together.

A florist delivery to a spread-out address works better with a street number, a ZIP and one identifying detail, such as the name on a mailbox or the business name if the stop is a shop or an office.

Duluth, MN is the seat of the county and the name most senders will recognize, but a recipient in Hermantown, MN or Proctor, MN should be ordered for from that town's own page. Esko, Scanlon and Carlton are close as well.

For same day flower delivery in Rice Lake, the order needs to be in before 1 PM Central time, Monday through Saturday. Sunday delivery is not available, so a weekend gift is planned around Saturday.

A very large county, one delivery page

The town is part of St. Louis County, MN, which covers 6,248 square miles and has a population figure of 200,794. The county names Duluth as its seat, but the seat is only one of many places an order may be headed.

Hibbing, Ely, Virginia and Chisholm are also in the county, along with a long list of smaller towns. Each has its own page, and flowers delivered to a relative in one of them begin there rather than here.

Carlton County, MN borders the county and has a page too. A sender with relatives in both can place two separate orders, each with the cutoff measured on Central time. The county page is also a rough map of what is covered; if the recipient's town is on it, the same Monday through Saturday schedule applies.

A card for a Rice Lake recipient, with more than a signature

A card is the only part of the order the recipient keeps, so spend a sentence on it. A relationship word and a name, such as an aunt or a former coworker, tells the recipient who sent the flowers without any guessing.

Birthday flowers for someone in Rice Lake work best with a line about the occasion, however short. A message that names the day, a new year or a milestone, lets the bouquet carry the rest. To send flowers to Rice Lake for a recovery, two words on the card are plenty, because the flowers speak first.

Funeral flowers in Rice Lake go with a card that is plainer still: a few words, the sender's name and the family's surname so it lands at the right place at the service.

Orders for a reception desk

To order flowers for an office, carry the business name, the department or floor and the recipient's full name. A reception desk can only hand over what it can match, and flowers without a name wait in a corner. Flower deliveries to a workplace are also easier when the order says which entrance the staff use.

Delivery hours run between 9 AM and 7 PM, so a workplace that closes early is better reached with a morning order. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent after the florist makes it, at no extra charge.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value. Near Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas or Easter the same-day cutoff can be earlier than 1 PM, so order those a day ahead.

The Minnesota delivery page covers every other place in the state, and the full catalog lists sizes for each design so the choice can follow the room.
