Long Lake, MN Flower Delivery by a Florist

Addresses on under a square mile

With 1,745 residents in 2020 on 0.856 square miles, orders here reach houses, apartments and small businesses within a few blocks of one another. ZIP 55356 is on file, and Long Lake MN 55356 is the line to copy from any envelope.

Even on a compact map, the nearest towns with pages are close enough to confuse, so a stop needs a street number and not a description. A recipient who lives on a long road should add a landmark, such as a corner or a mailbox color.

Flower delivery in Long Lake, MN is available Monday through Saturday, with stops between 9 AM and 7 PM. Sunday delivery is not available, which makes Saturday the last chance before a Sunday visit.

Same day flower delivery in Long Lake depends on an order placed before 1 PM Central time. If an hour matters, the notes can carry it as a wish, and the afternoon's route settles the real time.

Apartment buildings and office suites need the unit and the person's name on the order, since a receptionist sorts by name. A house with a side entrance should say which door the family uses.

Flowers for Long Lake, Minnesota, and not for Illinois

Illinois has a town with the same name, so a search for flower delivery in Long Lake can lead a sender astray. The order on this page goes to Minnesota, and the summary before payment should show the state and ZIP 55356.

An arrangement made for the wrong state is hard to redirect, so the check belongs before payment. A sender with only a town name from a relative should ask for the full mailing address and read the state back.

The town lies in Hennepin County, MN, where the county seat is Minneapolis, and thirty-nine towns in the county have delivery pages. That is a long list, and it is one more reason to check the town on the recipient's mail before choosing a page.

Counties next door include Carver County, MN and Wright County, MN, with Anoka County, MN and Scott County, MN on other sides. Anyone with a recipient beyond a county line should open that county's page instead.

The same check works in reverse for a sender in Minnesota who is ordering for a relative elsewhere: flower deliveries follow the address on the order, not the sender's home.

When the recipient's town is Orono, not Long Lake

Orono, MN is the nearest town with a page, followed by Wayzata, MN and Medina, MN; Deephaven, MN and Spring Park, MN come after them, with Tonka Bay, MN beyond. A friend who says she lives near it may take her mail in any of these.

Mail is the tiebreaker. A label that shows this town's name and ZIP means this page, and any other town name means that town's page, where a florist near it will arrange the flowers.

Because the pages sit so close together, an order placed on the wrong one is easy to do and hard to undo. Comparing the ZIP on the recipient's envelope with the one on the order costs ten seconds.

Anyone who wants to send flowers to Long Lake for a birthday can place the order from another state, and the delivery is by hand.

A recipient who moved recently may still use the old town name out of habit. Ask for the address as it reads on a recent bill.

Which stems may differ from the catalog picture

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand. The size, shape and value of the arrangement stay as ordered, so a swap changes a variety, for example one kind of rose for another, and never the scale of the piece.

A recipient who loves one color can be served by naming it in the notes. A request is all it is, and the photo afterward shows what was made.

A florist in Long Lake builds the piece for the address given, so a bouquet meant for an anniversary dinner should carry the date in the notes. Keep the card short, since a small card crops long text.

Plants leave less to chance than cut stems, since the variety is the point of the gift, though the pot and the foliage can still differ a little from a picture.

A photo for the sender who cannot be there

A photo of the finished piece reaches the sender at no charge once the florist has made it, substituted stems included.

For a sender far away it beats a catalog picture: a daughter in another state can order flowers for her father's retirement and see the vase that will sit on his desk.

Funeral flowers in Long Lake follow the notice: they go to the place it names, with the family name and the hour in the notes, and the photo confirms what arrived.

A search for flower shop in Long Lake ends at this page, where florists near Long Lake arrange each bouquet by hand. Orders placed after 1 PM Central time go out on the next delivery day.

The catalog lists the designs, and the state page lists the towns.

A retirement party or a last day at work is a good reason to order flowers a day ahead, since offices may receive deliveries only at the front desk. The card can carry the name of the whole team.
