Greenwood, MN Flower Delivery by Hand

Excelsior, Tonka Bay and Shorewood on the map

The towns closest to Greenwood are Excelsior, MN and Tonka Bay, MN, followed by Shorewood, MN, with Deephaven, MN and Chanhassen, MN also near, as is Orono, MN. Flower delivery in Greenwood, MN is the right choice only when the recipient's mail names this city and ZIP 55331.

A recipient who lives close to a town line may describe the address with the name they know best, not the one on the envelope. Ask for the exact line, and order from the matching page. A bouquet meant for Excelsior belongs on the Excelsior page, even if the recipient says the two are practically the same.

Senders outside Minnesota sometimes assume that a small city has one ZIP code and one post office, and that is usually true here. The 2020 census counted 726 people on about a third of a square mile, so the addresses are few and the ZIP is the tiebreaker.

The county, the town and the order form

The city lies in Hennepin County, MN, and the seat is Minneapolis. The county is large, so the word alone does not narrow an address much. Neighboring counties such as Carver County, MN and Scott County, MN have delivery pages for recipients across a county line, and Wright County, MN is another.

What narrows an address is the town plus the ZIP. Greenwood flower delivery is built around that pair, and a florist in Greenwood or nearby uses it to find the door. An order with the wrong ZIP starts in the wrong place, even when the street name is right.

For a home, add a line about the entrance. A side door, a driveway gate or a mailbox color helps a hand delivery, since the person carrying the flowers may not know the street. Florists near Greenwood follow notes of that kind when they are on the order.

Twelve towns called Greenwood

The same name belongs to towns in a dozen other states, including Mississippi, Indiana, Delaware and Louisiana, and a search for flowers can show any of them. An order for flowers sent to the wrong town of that name would be made for a recipient far from the real one, so the state should be checked before the order is paid.

The simplest check is to read the address aloud with the state and the ZIP. If the state reads anything else, the order is for a different town. Flowers delivered in error cannot be moved to the right state after they have been arranged, and no note on the card can undo that.

A flower shop in Greenwood is what many people type when they need a gift, but the bouquets here are made by a local florist and carried in by hand. Anyone ready to send flowers to Greenwood MN can order on this page.

What a swap of stems leaves alone

The stems inside an arrangement may vary with stock, but its size, shape and value hold steady, so a medium bouquet stays a medium and only the kinds of flowers change.

Colors survive a swap and single blooms do not, so name the color. A sender who asks for pink and cream should get a design in those colors, even if one flower is missing on the day the bouquet is built.

For funeral flowers in Greenwood, the same rule applies to a wreath or a spray, which keeps its size while the florist changes only what is out of stock. Use the address from the notice and add the family's last name.

The photo of a finished Greenwood bouquet

After the florist finishes, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent at no extra charge. It shows the bouquet as it was made, with the flowers that were used, so the sender sees the result before the recipient does.

Look at the size against the vase, the colors and the shape. If something is wrong, it can be raised after delivery, and a replacement, a refund or a partial credit can follow. A sender who cannot be there in person can forward the photo with a message of their own.

Greenwood kitchen table: plant or cut stems

Cut flowers are brightest for a week, while a plant can stay for months. A recipient who travels or works long hours may prefer a plant, and a house with a small table suits a short vase better than a tall one.

A birthday in Greenwood is well served by either, and a thank-you works with a plant because the gratitude outlasts the week. A new baby calls for pastels and a low, steady shape. Order flowers a day ahead when a date is fixed.

Keeping a Greenwood surprise under wraps

A surprise works best when someone at the address knows a delivery is coming, so the bouquet is taken inside and not left on a step. If the recipient lives alone, a neighbor or a coworker who is told in advance can be named on the order.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available.
