Dellwood, MN Flower Delivery by Hand

Three neighbors around a Dellwood address

Dellwood flower delivery starts with the address, because a recipient who says they live here may have a mailing address in a neighboring place: Mahtomedi, MN, Grant, MN or White Bear Lake, MN. Each has a delivery page, and an order is best placed on the page that matches the address printed on the recipient's mail.

Hugo, North Oaks and Vadnais Heights are other nearby towns, and each can be the right answer for a sender whose recipient has moved. When the address does read Dellwood MN, stay on this page, and send flowers to Dellwood with ZIP code 55110 in the order.

Dellwood belongs to Washington County, MN, and Washington County, MN lists the other towns in it. The county seat is Stillwater, a separate delivery town, so the county name alone does not say which town an order is for.

Anoka County, MN borders this one, and Anoka County, MN covers recipients on that side. A florist near Dellwood who makes an arrangement for a relative across the county line is as local as one in town.

Wisconsin has a Dellwood too, so check the order

Towns named Dellwood exist in Missouri and Wisconsin as well, which makes a wrong-state order easy to place by accident. The order summary should read Dellwood, MN and show Minnesota before payment, with ZIP code 55110 alongside it.

This form handles flower delivery in Dellwood, MN only. A delivery meant for the Wisconsin town or the Missouri one would need its own order, which is why the state is worth a last look.

Same day flower delivery in Dellwood needs the order in before 1 PM Central time. A sender on the East Coast reaches that hour at 2 PM on their own clock. After the line, an order waits for the next delivery day.

1,169 people and what it means for deliveries

For delivery purposes the 2020 count matters: 1,169 people on 2.678 square miles of land. That is a small area, with addresses close together, and the street plus the ZIP code is usually all a florist needs to reach the right door.

A local florist makes each order by hand and carries it between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. Sunday delivery is not available. A preferred hour can be noted as a request, and the photo of the finished arrangement is sent afterward at no extra charge. Flower deliveries here are short hops between neighboring streets, and flowers delivered in the afternoon are as common as morning ones.

People searching for a flower shop in Dellwood find no storefront on this page; the florist who fills the order works near the recipient, and florists near Dellwood in the neighboring towns are the ones who carry most of the arrangements. Funeral flowers in Dellwood follow the usual rule: the funeral director or church, with the hour of the service in the notes.

When a birthday lands on Sunday

A birthday that falls on a Sunday cannot be met with a Sunday delivery, because none is offered. The two choices are Saturday, a day early, or Monday, a day late, and most senders choose Saturday so the flowers are in the house for the day itself.

To order flowers for a Dellwood birthday, place the order before 1 PM Central time on the Friday if the delivery is meant for Saturday. Holidays are different: around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter the same day cutoff can be earlier than 1 PM.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. A birthday bouquet that arrives with one different stem is still the size that was ordered. The photo of the finished piece lets the sender spot the change before the flowers reach the door.

A new baby and a homecoming

Flowers for a new baby are best timed for when the family is home, not for the day of the birth. A bouquet that arrives after the homecoming has a table waiting for it, and the parents have time to look at it.

A preferred day can be requested in the order, and the sender can ask for delivery on a Saturday if the baby's first week ends on a Sunday. A card with both parents' names and the baby's, if the family has announced it, is easy to read at the door. Anyone who wants to send something for a baby girl or a baby boy can choose soft colors from the catalog and let the florist handle the stems.

After the florist finishes the piece, the photo shows what was made for that order. The catalog of arrangements lists sizes and designs, and the Minnesota delivery page covers every other town across the state.
