Bloomington, MN Flower Delivery, Same Day Option

Six ZIP codes, one clock, and a sender far away

Anyone ordering from another state wants to know the deadline first. For flower delivery in Bloomington, MN the line is 1 PM Central time, and it is the recipient's clock that counts. A sender on the East Coast reaches it at 2 PM, and one on the West Coast reaches it at 11 AM.

Bloomington uses six ZIP codes: 55420, 55425, 55431, 55435, 55437 and 55438. A large city needs the full street address, because the ZIP tells the florist which part of it the recipient lives in.

Same day flower delivery in Bloomington is possible Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. An order placed after the line on Saturday waits for Monday.

Minnesota senders ordering within the state face the same line as senders in other states: what matters is the recipient's clock and the recipient's ZIP. That is why the order summary lists the ZIP and the date before the payment step.

A florist in Bloomington builds each arrangement by hand, and flowers delivered within the same city are easy to plan because the window, 9 AM to 7 PM, covers the whole working day. Anyone who wants to order flowers for a late afternoon can say so in the notes as a wish.

Bloomington or the city next door: read the ZIP

Richfield, MN and Edina, MN are close enough that a recipient may use either when describing where they live, and Burnsville, MN is nearby too. The town on the mailing address is the one the order should carry.

Savage, Eden Prairie and Eagan are also near. Eden Prairie shares the county, while Savage and Eagan do not, and each has its own ZIP and its own delivery area.

A florist in Bloomington or close by builds each piece by hand, and flowers delivered to a neighboring city follow the same steps. Only the address line changes.

Flowers for a Normandale Community College event

Normandale Community College is one of four schools in the city, and an order for a student or staff member should carry the recipient's full name, the building and the department. A campus address is easy to misread without them.

Bethany Global University, Northwestern Health Sciences University and Rasmussen University are the other schools, and flowers for a student, a faculty member or an office there should name the school as well as the street.

Flowers delivered to a campus arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM, and graduation or a commencement day is best planned a day ahead, since offices are busy.

Martin Luther Care Center and Minnesota Masonic Home Care Center are two of the care sites in the city, and an order for a resident there should carry the full name and the room number. A plant or a compact vase suits a small room better than a tall design.

Campus events such as commencement cluster on a few days, when offices are busy, so flowers for a graduate are best sent the day before to a home address and not to a department office. Florists near Bloomington can build the arrangement to the size ordered.

Bloomington's namesakes and your order

Texas, Wisconsin, Indiana, California and Illinois each have a Bloomington, and a search for Bloomington flower delivery can point to any of them. Before paying, the order summary should read MN and one of the six ZIPs, which tells the florist which city gets the arrangement.

With 89,981 people as of 2020, the city sends orders to houses, apartments and offices, so the notes should say which kind of address it is.

The city lies in Hennepin County, MN, and Minneapolis is the county seat. Edina, Richfield, Eden Prairie and Minnetonka share the county, and Dakota County, MN and Scott County, MN are among the counties that touch it.

A recipient with a Bloomington address should double check the ZIP, because six codes serve the city and a typo in one digit points the order toward a different part of it.

An anniversary plan that uses the Saturday window

An anniversary date does not move, so the order should go in early enough to use the same-day line only as a backup. Anniversary flowers for Bloomington MN couples are easiest on a Saturday, when a household is at home.

For a dinner out, an afternoon arrival can be requested in the notes, though no hour is guaranteed. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent at no extra charge, and stems may be swapped for what the florist has on hand while the size, shape and value stay the same.

Funeral flowers in Bloomington go to the funeral director, the church or the family home, and the order should say which, with the hour of the service. To send flowers to Bloomington, use the arrangement catalog or the Minnesota delivery page. A flower shop in Bloomington is not required.

A card for an anniversary needs only a few words: a name, a date and a sentence only the two of them would understand. Order flowers a day ahead and the card can be checked against the photo.

Anyone sending a get well bouquet can use the same steps, choosing a smaller arrangement for a room in a care home and a larger one for a house.
