Escanaba, MI Flower Delivery by Hand

Substitutions for a Care Home Order

Bishop Noa Home for Senior Citizens is one of the care homes in Escanaba, and sending flowers there takes a little thought. Include the resident's full name and a room number if you have one, and choose a compact design or a small plant, since a bedside table or a windowsill is usually all the space there is.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. For a care home order, that means the small design you chose stays small, and a missing variety is replaced by one close in color.

The photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you after the florist has made it, at no extra charge. For a family member who cannot visit, it is a way to see what reached the room, and to describe it on the next phone call.

Gladstone and Other Nearby Towns

Escanaba is the county seat of Delta County, MI, a county of about 36,687 people across 1,171 square miles. The county has no page of its own on this site, so this page and the one for Gladstone, MI, in the same county, handle its addresses.

Other nearby towns with their own pages include Norway, MI and Hermansville, MI. The page for Menominee County, MI lists the towns in that county, and Marquette County, MI has a page as well.

For the rest of the state, the Michigan delivery page is the place to start. Checking the recipient's town first saves an order going to the wrong page. The ZIP code on the recipient's mail is the quickest test: 49829 belongs here.

Birthdays, Anniversaries and Thank You Flowers

To send flowers to Escanaba for a birthday, the home address and a phone number are usually enough, and a note about a side door helps for a house set back from the road. A bright mixed bouquet is a common pick, and a short card line in your own words goes further than a long one.

For an anniversary, roses or a design in the couple's colors are the usual choice. A thank you arrangement for a nurse, a teacher or a colleague is easiest to receive at a workplace, with the person's name and department.

Get well flowers should go wherever the person is resting that day. A small plant lasts through a long recovery at home better than cut stems do. For a new baby, a light, low arrangement is easy for tired parents to keep, and a card with both parents' names is a thoughtful touch.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Escanaba MI

Same day flower delivery in Escanaba needs the order placed before 1 PM Eastern time, which is the clock in Michigan. That is noon for anyone on Central time, 11 AM for Mountain time and 10 AM for Pacific time.

Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. Arrangements reach the door between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a preferred time can be noted as a request but not promised.

An order placed after 1 PM Eastern is set for the next delivery day, which after a Saturday is Monday. For a Sunday birthday, choose Saturday delivery. A delivery to someone who works shifts is easier to plan at home than at work, since the arrival time within the window cannot be fixed.

Senior Residence and Office Addresses

Christian Park Health Care Center and Christian Park Village are also in town, and the same care applies there. For a resident, add the full name and a room number, and keep the design modest in size. It can also help to check with the family whether a resident has moved rooms recently, because an old room number sends the flowers on a detour.

For a house in the 49829 ZIP code, add the recipient's phone number and a note about the entrance. For an office, including a county office in the county seat, name the person and the department, so the flowers do not sit at a front counter waiting to be claimed.

People searching for a flower shop in Escanaba or a florist in Escanaba find no storefront to walk into. The order is placed online, and an Escanaba florist near the recipient arranges it from the catalog of arrangements.

Funeral Flowers and Sympathy Plants

Funeral flowers in Escanaba go to the service or to the family home. For a service, include the name of the person who died, the date and the start time. For a home, add the family surname.

A standing spray or a wreath is meant for the service, and a vase arrangement or a plant suits the family home. Sundays sit outside the delivery week, so a Sunday service in Delta County needs its flowers on Saturday. Sympathy flowers to Escanaba sent a week or two later, when the visitors have gone, are often the ones a family keeps in mind.

For flower delivery in Escanaba, MI, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you once it is made, whatever the occasion.
