A gift for someone at a county office or the courthouse goes to Oakland with the department named on the order. Flower swaps and their limits

Flower types may be substituted based on what the local florist has on hand. The arrangement type, its size, shape and value never change. Usually the change is small, one white bloom standing in for another white bloom of similar height. Sympathy pieces keep their size and color palette as closely as the stems allow, which matters when the family has asked for white.

Florists near Mountain Lake Park work from the arrangement catalog, and each design is shown at every size. Choose the size first; it is the one thing a swap can never touch. One meaningful flower can be requested in the notes, though not promised. The value you paid for stays in the design; a substitution never shrinks it or changes it from a basket to a vase.

The picture of what arrived

Once the florist finishes, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge. It shows the real flowers, including any swap, so you know exactly what the recipient opened.

For a birthday in Mountain Lake Park, or an anniversary far from home, the photo is the one picture you will have of the gift. If the recipient is a patient, it may be the only way you see the flowers before they reach the room. Save it with the order confirmation; it also shows a relative who could not chip in what the family received. A card for a new baby or a retirement needs only a few lines in your own voice.
