Hide-A-Way Lake, MS Flower Delivery by Hand

Why the mailing address may not say Hide-A-Way Lake

The Census Bureau lists the place as a census-designated community, so no town government stands behind the name, and mail can carry the name of a bigger post office nearby. The ZIP code is 39426, and that number is steadier than any place name.

A sender should copy the address from something the recipient wrote, an envelope or a text, rather than typing from memory. Flower delivery in Hide-A-Way Lake, MS works from that address line, and the florist follows whatever is written there.

If the line names Picayune or another town, use that town's listing instead. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, and Sunday delivery is not available anywhere, so a weekend order should be placed for Saturday at the latest.

Anyone who typed Hide-A-Way Lake MS into a search bar is probably comparing several sites, and a reader who wanted a flower shop in Hide-A-Way Lake will find the order form on this page. The useful questions are the same on all of them: which ZIP, which state, and which clock the cutoff uses. Here it is Central time.

Picayune, Nicholson and Kiln are the closest listings

Picayune, MS, Nicholson, MS and Kiln, MS are listed as their own towns, each with its own local florists. A recipient who says Hide-A-Way Lake may collect mail in one of them, which is the quickest reason an order should start from the envelope.

Poplarville is the seat of Pearl River County, MS, and Poplarville, MS is listed too, so county business goes there, not to the community. Hancock County, MS and Harrison County, MS are neighbors on the Mississippi side, while St. Tammany Parish, LA is a parish across the state line in Louisiana.

A sender who is unsure can write both names in the notes, the community and the mailing town, which costs a few seconds and covers either possibility when the florist reads the address. Two relatives in neighboring ZIP codes should get two separate orders, because each order is written for one florist near one address. A florist near Hide-A-Way Lake covers ZIP 39426 and nothing beyond it.

Flowers for 2,065 people on streets that curve

With 2,065 people counted in 2020 on about 1.5 square miles, flowers here go to houses that sit close together, often on streets that curve, so directions given in left and right turns are easier to follow than compass points. A house number and a landmark do the work that a grid would elsewhere, which is how Hide-A-Way Lake flower delivery stays simple.

Order flowers with the approach described in the notes: the color of the house, whether a gate stands at the turn, which side the driveway is on. A wish for a time of day can be typed in, but it stays a wish, since no hour inside the window is promised.

Same day flower delivery in Hide-A-Way Lake depends on the order being placed before 1 PM Central time, on the recipient's clock. A late order goes out on the next delivery day, which is Monday after a Saturday evening.

What a swapped stem can and cannot change at Hide-A-Way Lake

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand. There is no substitution in the type of arrangement, so the size, shape and value stay as ordered, and the florist takes care to keep the look close.

Color is the safest instruction to give. A recipient who loves yellow is more likely to be pleased by a bouquet that is yellow and a little different than by one that is exact in its flowers and wrong in its shade.

Flowers delivered for a birthday in Hide-A-Way Lake follow the same rule as everything else, and nothing about a substitution depends on the occasion. A florist in Hide-A-Way Lake or nearby makes the piece by hand.

If the recipient has an allergy or a dislike, say so in the order. The florist cannot promise a flower, but can avoid one that is named, and that is worth a sentence in the notes.

A photo of the finished arrangement, and what to do with it

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once the local florist has made it, at no extra charge. The sender sees the real flowers before anyone opens the door.

That is useful when the sender lives far away and cannot ask a neighbor to look. The photo also settles small questions about a card or a ribbon. A family can keep it as a record of the arrangement that marked a birthday, a recovery or a thank-you.

For a service, sympathy flowers to Hide-A-Way Lake should go to the place holding it, with the time in the notes. To send flowers to Hide-A-Way Lake for a get-well wish, the same rules apply.
