Hickory Flat, MS Flower Delivery to the Door

Picking a Design for Hickory Flat

The nearest towns with delivery pages of their own, Ashland in the same county and New Albany a little farther off, are a drive away rather than around the corner. That distance is the first thing to understand about flower delivery in Hickory Flat, MS: stops on country roads are spread across the day, so an arrangement can reach a rural house at any time between 9 AM and 7 PM.

It also shapes the choice of design. A sturdy vase arrangement travels a long road better than a tall, delicate piece. The arrangement catalog shows each design in all its sizes, and for a farmhouse kitchen or a porch table, the middle size is plenty. You will see the delivery charge at checkout; it is counted once for each address. Tall lilies and delicate branches look lovely in a picture, but a compact, rounded design sits more safely on a table with children and pets around.

Funeral Flowers for Hickory Flat Services

Funeral flowers in Hickory Flat should go to the place where the service is held, which may be a funeral home or a church in another town. Ask the family for the name of the place and the start time, and address the spray or wreath there. Hickory Flat flower delivery to a service outside town works the same way: give the full address of the funeral home or church and put the service time in the notes.

For the family's own house, a vase design, a basket or a peace lily is kinder, since it can stay long after the service. A service planned for a Sunday needs a Saturday order, because Sunday delivery is not offered. A card with your full name and a line about how you knew the person helps a family sort through many at once.

Substitution Explained Plainly

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. Should the white roses in a picture be scarce that morning, white blooms of a similar size and form stand in for them.

The utmost care goes into keeping the result close to the design you picked, and the container and style stay exactly as ordered. For a small Mississippi town, this is what lets an order go out the same day rather than wait for one missing variety.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Hickory Flat MS

For same-day delivery, the order must be placed before 1 PM Central time, which is the recipient's clock. A sender on Eastern time should look for 2 PM on their own watch, and a sender on Mountain time should look for noon. The same line applies to every Mississippi address, so there is only one time to remember.

Deliveries are made Monday through Saturday, and none on Sunday. An order placed past the line goes out on the following delivery day. A preferred hour can be written on the order as a request, but on a rural route it cannot be promised. In the weeks of Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter the same-day cutoff can be earlier, so holiday flower deliveries are best ordered ahead.

Birthday and Get Well Wishes

A birthday in Hickory Flat is one of the most frequent reasons family members order flowers from out of state. A bright mixed design brightens a kitchen, and a card written in your own voice is the piece that gets kept in a drawer.

A get well wish suits a plant, which asks little of someone who is resting. Anniversaries, new babies, graduations and retirements are all good reasons to send flowers to Hickory Flat as well, and a thank-you to a helpful neighbor needs nothing more than a small design and a specific note. Flowers sent to a workplace for a retirement should carry the business name and the department, and for a new baby a small design keeps a busy house uncluttered.

All of Hickory Flat uses ZIP code 38633. Write the house number and road exactly as the recipient's mail is addressed, and add a phone number for the recipient. On a long county road, mention a gate, a mailbox color or a lane, since a stranger has to find the door. A box number by itself is not enough for a hand delivery. If the house sits behind another one or shares a drive, say which it is.

Once the florist has finished, a photo of the arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge. For anyone who wants to send flowers from far away, that picture shows the finished design that was then delivered by hand.
