Same Day Flower Delivery Caledonia, MS

Caledonia MS: a town of 1,139 and the addresses its orders go to

The 2020 figure for Caledonia is 1,139 people across 2.825 square miles, so most orders go to houses, and the rest to small businesses or a family property at the end of a drive. Every delivery address needs a street name, a house number and a recipient.

ZIP 39740 covers the town, so the ZIP on the envelope is seldom in doubt. What varies is the nearby town a recipient's mail may name instead, and those towns have their own pages, such as Columbus, MS and West Point, MS.

Flower delivery in Caledonia, MS is ordered on this page for ZIP 39740 and for no other code. A sender whose recipient has a different ZIP should choose the page that matches it.

Because the town is small, a note in the delivery field about the house or the drive does more than a long description. Something like the house with the blue mailbox helps a stranger find the door, and a florist can deliver flowers with that note in hand.

Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, and Sunday delivery is not available. Same day flower delivery in Caledonia needs an order placed before 1 PM Central time, which leaves the morning for choosing a design.

Which Caledonia the order is for

The name belongs to towns in MI, MN and WI as well, so a search for flowers delivered to Caledonia can produce an order for the wrong state. The order summary should say MS and ZIP 39740 before payment.

Senders working from memory should confirm the county too, which is Lowndes County, Mississippi. An order that names another county belongs to a different place, and the florist cannot repair a wrong state once the arrangement is built.

A sender who wants to send flowers to Caledonia from another time zone should work from the recipient's clock. On the East Coast, 1 PM Central time reads as 2 PM, and on the West Coast it reads as 11 AM.

An order placed after that hour is made on the next delivery day, which is never a Sunday, so a late Saturday order arrives on Monday. Sender and recipient often live in different time zones, and the recipient's clock is the one that counts on every order, whatever the sender's watch says.

A birthday in Caledonia, an anniversary or a thank you is ordered the same way: a short card, a clear name and an arrangement sized for a kitchen table.

Columbus, New Hope and the towns around an order here

The town sits in Lowndes County, MS, where Columbus is the seat. The county's towns include Columbus AFB and New Hope, so a recipient whose address mentions either should be checked by ZIP before an order is placed.

Aberdeen and Hatley are nearby as well, and Aberdeen, MS has its own delivery page, as does Hatley, MS.

Monroe County, MS and Oktibbeha County, MS are the Mississippi counties next door, while Pickens County, AL and Lamar County, AL lie across the line in Alabama. A recipient near the state line should be confirmed by ZIP.

An Alabama address sometimes arrives from a recipient who lives near the line but shops in Mississippi. The order should use the state on the mailing address, not the state where the recipient spends the afternoon.

Florists near Caledonia work from the ZIP and the street, and a florist in Caledonia or nearby builds the piece by hand. Nothing arrives in a box; it is carried to the door. The photo that follows shows the arrangement as it left the florist, so a sender who was not there can still see what stands in the hall.

Putting the sender's name where the recipient will see it

A card on an arrangement for a Caledonia address does the work of a signature. Write the sender's name first, then a short line, and avoid a long message that has to be read on a porch.

Funeral flowers in Caledonia are addressed to the family or the place holding the service, following the notice. A standing piece or a low tribute fits either, and a sympathy card should say less, not more.

If a flower type is unavailable, a substitute can stand in while the arrangement keeps its size, its shape and its value.

When the florist has finished, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent at no extra charge; it shows the actual flowers, not a catalog picture.

Anyone searching for a flower shop in Caledonia finds no shop front on this page; the work is done by a local florist. Sizes are in the arrangement catalog, and other towns are on the Mississippi page. Caledonia flower delivery works that way, and anyone can order flowers early in the day.
