Mermentau, LA Flower Delivery by Hand

Jennings, Egan or Mermentau

A boxed bouquet arrives with its stems wrapped and its vase missing. A hand-delivered arrangement is already made and in water when it reaches the recipient. Flower delivery in Mermentau, LA is the hand-made kind, from a local florist.

Relatives far away often name the closest larger town. If the recipient's mail reads Jennings, LA or Egan, LA, order from that page; Morse, LA is a third neighbor.

Two ZIPs appear on local mail, 70556 and 70559. Use the one printed on the recipient's letters, with the matching town name.

Mermentau flower delivery keeps the same cutoff and calendar as the neighboring pages, so choosing between them is only about which town the mail names. Estherwood, LA and Lake Arthur, LA are two more names relatives sometimes mean.

A carton also has to be found and opened quickly. An arrangement made in its container is ready the moment it is handed over, and nothing needs cutting.

Farm lots and houses near Mermentau

Orders go to a village of 518 residents counted in 2020, on about 2.1 square miles, so almost every delivery is a house or a farm property. Flowers delivered to a rural lot may arrive later in the window than those in the center.

Same day flower delivery in Mermentau runs on Central time. Orders placed before 1 PM Central time reach the recipient the same business day, and deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. Sunday delivery is not available.

Describe a long driveway or an unmarked gate in the notes. A hoped-for hour can go there too, as a request only.

Flowers delivered to a church hall or a community building should name the event and the organizer in the notes, so whoever opens the door knows where they go.

For a birthday party at a farmhouse, the morning of the party is the safest time to order. The arrangement then has most of the window to make the trip out.

Crowley and the Acadia towns

The village belongs to Acadia Parish, LA, with 56,604 residents on 655 square miles and its seat at Crowley. Rayne, Church Point, Iota, Estherwood and Egan share the parish, and flower deliveries to them keep one calendar.

Cards that leave no doubt

Sign with the name the recipient uses for you, and add the connection if it could be unclear: a grandchild at college, a former coworker, an old neighbor.

Flowers at the workplace

For a recipient at work, address the business, then the department, then the person. Offices that close on Saturday cannot accept deliveries that day.

Name the person clearly so the front office can find them. For someone on shifts, the home address on a day off may be better.

Retirements and promotions are often marked at the office; a design sized for a desk or a counter suits that setting.

For a farm business, the office may be a kitchen table. In that case the home address is the workplace, and the notes should say who will be there to receive the flowers.

Apartments and front desks nearby

Few apartments exist in a village this size, but recipients in nearby towns may live in one. Put the unit number on the address line, and a gate code or a way to reach the recipient in the notes.

A building with a front desk can usually accept the arrangement for a resident; name the resident and unit clearly.

For a student renting in Crowley or Jennings, the parent's address back home may be easier; flowers for a graduation can wait there for the celebration.

Senior apartments often have an office that keeps weekday hours. Aim for a weekday, and put the resident's apartment number on the order itself.
