Solon, IA Flower Delivery by Hand

The order takes you a few minutes. After that, a florist near the recipient reads the address and the card, makes the arrangement by hand in its container, and takes it to the door between 9 AM and 7 PM. Flower delivery in Solon closes with a photo of the finished piece, sent back to you so you see what the recipient sees.

Same day flower delivery in Solon needs the order in before 1 PM Central time. A sender two zones west meets that line at 11 AM on their own clock, and one on the East Coast at 2 PM. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and there is no Sunday delivery, so an order placed late on Saturday is made on Monday.

Solon Nursing Care Center room deliveries

Solon Nursing Care Center takes flowers for residents at its front desk. Write the resident's full name as the staff know it and, if the family has shared it, the room. A design that stands steady on a small table suits a resident's room better than a tall vase, which can tip on a crowded nightstand. For a resident who cannot see well, strong colors are easier to enjoy than a pale, delicate mix.

A plant is often the better gift for a long stay. It lasts for weeks, asks only for water, and gives the resident something to tend. Cut flowers suit a birthday or a holiday visit, when the arrangement is meant to be enjoyed for a few days and then cleared away.

Check with the family before you send flowers to Solon for a resident. People move between care centers, hospitals and home, and an arrangement cannot be forwarded after it has been delivered. Visiting on the same day the flowers arrive is a nice touch, since the arrangement then has someone to be shown off to.

Flowers for 3,026 people in 52333

With 3,026 residents in 2020 and a land area of 1.325 square miles, flowers delivered in Solon go to houses, apartments and a few businesses. For an apartment, the unit number belongs on the order with the street; for a house, the number on the door and the street name are enough. Townhomes that share one driveway need the unit letter or number, or the vase may reach the wrong side.

A town named Solon also exists in Ohio, and address forms may suggest it first. Before paying, check that the order says Solon IA with ZIP 52333; flower deliveries sent to the wrong state cannot be fixed on the day.

If the recipient works during the day, a workplace address on a weekday may be the better choice; give the business and the department so the arrangement finds the right desk. A shop owner is usually easiest to reach at the shop during opening hours on a weekday.

Iowa City, Ely and North Liberty addresses

The town belongs to Johnson County, IA, a county of 160,080 on 613 square miles, with Iowa City as its seat. Tiffin, Oxford, Hills and several other towns are in the same county, each with its own page. A student or a coworker in Iowa City needs that city's page and ZIP, not this one, and the same goes for someone who works in North Liberty or Ely but lives here.

Many people who live nearby have an address in a neighboring town. For Ely, IA or North Liberty, IA, order from that page, and Shueyville, IA has a page too. If the recipient lives across the line in Linn County, IA, start from that county.

A flower shop in Solon is what many relatives search for first. The design here is made by a Solon florist or one close by, by hand, and delivered to the door. Funeral flowers in Solon belong at the funeral home named in the obituary, with the service hour in the notes.

Anniversary flowers at a Solon table

Anniversary flowers work best when they arrive before dinner. A preferred time of day can be added to the order as a request, though no exact time can be promised; asking for the afternoon usually gives the arrangement a few hours on the table before anyone sits down.

Roses are the classic choice, but a mixed design in the couple's favorite colors feels more personal. If you order flowers for a milestone year, say the number on the card, and mention a shared memory, a first apartment or a trip, so even a simple design reads as personal. If the couple married in a particular color, say so in the notes, so any substitute stays close to it. Florists near Solon may substitute a flower type if one is short, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement.

For a couple where one partner lives at the care center, an arrangement with both names on the card, sent to the room, makes the day count for both of them. The photo of the finished design gives the partner at home something to see as well.
