Flowers Delivered in Texas County, MO

Cabool, Licking and the 1 PM Line

An order placed before 1 PM Central time reaches Cabool or Licking the same business day, and one placed later moves to the next. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available in Texas County.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, and that window matters more here than in most places, because Texas County is 1,177 square miles of ground and an address in 65555 is nowhere close to one in 65689.

A sender two zones west has 1 PM Central time arrive in the middle of their own morning, which is earlier than it feels. Placing the order the day before removes the question for a Houston or Cabool address and costs nothing at all.

Holidays pull the line forward. Around Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas and Easter the same-day cutoff for a Licking or Raymondville address can fall earlier than 1 PM, and an order placed a few days out sidesteps the question entirely.

Choose a Size for Raymondville

Raymondville is the smallest of the four towns, and most orders there go to a house, where width reads better than height. Hickory Manor in Licking is the other kind of address, and a resident room takes a smaller piece than a hallway does.

The arrangement catalog lists each design at the size it is built to, which is the quickest way to choose for a Raymondville address. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist near Houston has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement.

Birthday and Thank You Orders, Houston

A birthday or a thank you order for a Houston address is the most common kind on this page, and the county seat holds two of the four named places. Texas County Memorial Hospital wants a patient name and a room, while Houston House takes a resident name instead.

A get well order is the same problem in a different coat: the ward matters more than the street, and a surname on its own stops at reception. Writing both out in full is the single easiest thing a sender can do.

Between Cabool and Licking there is a good deal of open country, and a florist planning the run needs the postal code to know which way to turn out of Houston. That is the practical reason a Texas County order does better with a full address than with a town and a surname.

Four Towns Across 1,177 Square Miles

Houston is the county seat, and Licking, Cabool and Raymondville each keep a page beneath it with their own ZIP codes. The four are 65483, 65542, 65555 and 65689, and one of the larger counties in MO is exactly where a missing postal code costs a second run.

The Missouri county index lists the rest of the state, and Wright County, MO is the page west of the Texas County line. A photo of the finished arrangement follows once the florist near Houston has made it, at no extra charge, which is the part senders from outside Missouri do not expect.
