Metropolis, IL Flower Delivery, Desk to Door

Promotions, Birthdays and Thank-You Flowers

As the county seat of Massac County, IL, a county of 13,627 people over 237 square miles, Metropolis holds many of the county's workplaces: the courthouse, county offices, the hospital and the businesses around them. A promotion, a birthday at the front desk or a thank-you to a colleague is often best sent to work, where the recipient spends the day. For an office order, a basket or a plant copes with a weekend better than cut stems, and a modest size fits the corner of a desk. For the same occasions at home, a wider vase design suits a dining table. For a coworker who is retiring, a plant goes home with them and outlasts the party. For new parents at Massac Memorial Hospital, a small vase or a plant suits the room, and the mother's full name belongs in the notes.

A card that may be read over someone's shoulder should be short and warm. A Metropolis florist builds each design by hand, and it helps to mention the recipient's taste in the notes, whether that is one favorite color or a dislike of lilies.

Courthouse, Office and Hospital Addresses

Flower delivery in Metropolis, IL to a public building works best with the department name, the recipient's full name and a phone number that reaches their desk. Large buildings can have more than one entrance and a front counter that receives deliveries for everyone, so a floor or office number helps the flowers reach the right person. For Massac Memorial Hospital, give the patient's full name; for Southgate Health Care Center, the resident's name and room if you know it. County offices and the courthouse keep business hours, so a delivery there belongs on a weekday.

The town's ZIP code is 62960. For a house, add the road and house number and a second phone number; for an apartment, the unit number. Saturday deliveries run as usual, but plenty of offices are closed then, so a Saturday gift belongs at the house.

Nearby Towns and the Kentucky Line

Across the state line, McCracken County, KY has a page of its own, and an address there is ordered from that page rather than this one. On the Illinois side, Vienna, IL has a page, and so do Brookport, IL and Golconda, IL. Mound City, Rosiclare and Mounds have pages too. A Kentucky address and an Illinois one can look alike on a hurried form, so check the state on the order before paying.

To send flowers to Metropolis and to a relative in one of those towns, place each order on its own page. Massac County is not given a page here, so its towns are reached one by one and through the Illinois delivery page, which lists every town covered in the state.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Metropolis IL

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time reach the recipient the same business day. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM. For an office that window matters, because a desk that empties in the late afternoon can be missed, and a requested time is only ever a request. Same day flower delivery in Metropolis is read on an Illinois clock: the line falls at 2 PM for a sender on Eastern time and at 11 AM on Pacific time. Near Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter, expect that line to move earlier. A Saturday order placed after that hour is made on Monday.

Funeral Flowers and Sympathy Pieces

Funeral flowers in Metropolis go either to the service or to the family's home. For a service, a standing spray or a wreath is sized to be seen across the room; give the venue, the time and the full name of the person being remembered. For the family's house, a vase arrangement or a plant they can keep on a table for a week is the gentler choice. For a church service, name the church exactly as the obituary does, and do the same for a funeral home.

If the person being remembered spent their last weeks at Southgate Health Care Center, a small arrangement for a friend still living there can be a quiet kindness. A Sunday service needs flowers ordered for Saturday, as no deliveries run on Sunday. The photo sent to you afterward lets you describe the piece when you call the family.

Substitutions Handled Openly

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. For a desk arrangement or a funeral piece alike, the size and style stay as ordered even when a stem changes, and the design is kept as near to the picture as the stock allows. Metropolis flower delivery made by hand can adjust like that; a sealed carton cannot. Complaints about a 62960 delivery have a three-day window, since cut flowers fade; a replacement, a refund or a partial credit are the options that can follow.

People searching for a flower shop in Metropolis will not find a counter here to walk into; the order is placed online and made by a florist near Metropolis. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge, and the full range sits on the products page; browse it with the room in mind, and keep the card to a line or two.
