Same Day Homer Glen, IL Flower Delivery

Modell Funeral Home is the named address most senders ask about here, and flowers for it follow a few simple rules: the name of the person who died, the date and hour of the visitation, and a delivery date that puts the piece in place before the family arrives. The obituary notice usually gives the visitation hours, and it is the best source for the date and time to put on the order, sparing a call to relatives who are already stretched. Flower delivery in Homer Glen, IL to a funeral home works best when the order is placed a day ahead.

Same day flower delivery in Homer Glen still covers a late decision: orders placed before 1 PM Central time can be delivered that afternoon, between 9 AM and 7 PM. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available, so a Monday service calls for a Saturday order. A sender outside Illinois should read the 1 PM line on the recipient's clock, not their own.

Lockport, Lockport Heights and Bonnie Brae mail

Some recipients who live near the village have mail addressed to a neighboring town. If the envelopes say Lockport, IL or Lockport Heights, IL, order from that page instead. Bonnie Brae, IL has one as well, with the same designs and hours.

The ZIP decides it. 60491 is the Homer Glen ZIP; if the recipient's mail shows another number, the order belongs to that town. A quick look at a recent envelope saves a detour.

A birthday in Homer Glen and a graduation party in Lockport can go out on the same Saturday as two orders. Keep each card with its own address when you order flowers for both.

Visitation flowers at Modell Funeral Home

For a service at Modell Funeral Home, a standing piece or a casket arrangement is the usual choice, placed near the family during the visitation. Put the full name of the deceased on the order, along with the service date, so staff know where the flowers belong.

Funeral flowers in Homer Glen for the family home are a different gesture. A plant or a smaller vase design, sent a few days after the service, arrives when the house has gone quiet. Sympathy flowers to Homer Glen can go to either address, or to both.

Twenty-two square miles of Homer Glen IL houses

The 2020 census counted 24,549 people in Homer Glen, and the village stretches over more than 22 square miles, so a flower order can end at a house on a busy residential street or at one well away from any main road; flower deliveries reach every corner of it. The whole area is covered, though a far corner of the village may be reached later in the delivery window.

A number and a street name cover most addresses here. For a house set back on a long drive, add a note about the entrance, and for an apartment include the unit number. A box at the post office is no place for a hand-carried bouquet.

Homer Glen is a village in Will County, IL, where Joliet is the county seat, and that page names the other towns with pages of their own, Mokena, Frankfort and New Lenox among them. For an address across the line, Cook County, IL has its own page.

A swapped stem, same size and value

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. A lily might replace a rose, but a round design stays round and a large order stays large.

A shade the recipient loves, or one they dislike, is worth writing into the order. A Homer Glen florist can take it into account when a swap is needed, though it remains a request.

The Homer Glen photo, stem by stem

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it is sent to you at no extra charge. It shows the actual bouquet made for your order, not the picture in the catalog, so a substituted stem is plain to see.

Anything that looks wrong should be raised with customer service no later than three days after the delivery, when a replacement, a refund or a partial credit may be offered.

Cut flowers for the week, a plant for the season

Cut flowers delivered on the day make the bigger splash and fade over a week or so. Homer Glen flower delivery of a potted plant is the longer-lasting choice: it can last for months, which suits a new home, a long recovery or a family in mourning. A florist in Homer Glen or a nearby town makes either one by hand.

Anyone who typed flower shop in Homer Glen gets the same service: no counter, but a local florist and a hand delivery with a photo. To send flowers to Homer Glen, browse the designs or the Illinois delivery page.
