Arlington Heights, IL flower delivery by hand

Short stays and small tables in rehab

A patient recovering at New Summit Rehabilitation and Healthcare is usually there for therapy, and space beside the bed is limited. For flower delivery in Arlington Heights to a rehab stay, put the facility name first on the address, then the patient's first and last name and a room number if the family knows it.

A compact vase design or a small plant works best there. Tall stems get in the way of trays and walkers, and a gentle scent is easier on a roommate.

Same day flower delivery in Arlington Heights needs the order in before 1 PM Central time. A sender in the Rockies on Mountain time reads noon at that moment, and one on Alaska time reads 10 AM, so the further west the sender, the earlier the morning deadline.

A plant keeps going long after the patient is discharged, which makes it a practical gift for a rehab stay that may run for weeks.

Flowers bound for Northwest Community Hospital

Northwest Community Hospital is the hospital in the village, and flowers delivered there need the hospital name, the patient's first and last name, and a room or unit if you have one. Patients sometimes move between floors, so the name matters more than the number.

Some units restrict flowers or plants for medical reasons. Ask a family member before ordering, and if flowers are not allowed, send them to the house for the day the patient comes home.

Flower deliveries arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. Sunday delivery is not available, so a visit planned for Sunday is better covered with an order that arrives on Saturday.

A get-well card for a hospital patient can be short: who you are, how you know them and that you are thinking of them. A nurse or a relative may read it aloud, so plain words work best.

Two ZIPs across Arlington Heights

The 2020 census counted 77,689 people in the village, spread over about sixteen and a half square miles, so flower orders reach houses, condominiums, apartment towers and large offices, and the details on each order decide how quickly the gift reaches the person.

The village uses ZIPs 60005 and 60004, and it belongs to Cook County, IL, where Chicago is the seat and 5,182,617 people were counted. The same Central-time cutoff and the same six delivery days apply across the county and across Illinois.

Recipients in Palatine, IL, Mount Prospect, IL or Rolling Meadows, IL sometimes give a neighboring town by mistake; copy the town and ZIP from their mail. The adjoining Lake County, IL has its own page for recipients living on that side.

Flower delivery in Arlington Heights, IL to a large complex goes faster with a building letter or number on the order, since several addresses can share one street name.

Funeral flowers in Arlington Heights sent to Shalom Memorial Funeral Home need the service time and the family name on the order, with a card addressed to the family. A plant for the home in the week after is a quieter way to follow up.

Card lines for Arlington Heights recipients

A card read in a busy household or on a hospital floor needs to be clear at a glance. Sign with your first and last name, and add a word about how you know the person if it might not be obvious, a former neighbor or an old teammate.

For a birthday in Arlington Heights, one warm sentence and your name are enough. For an anniversary, both partners' names on the envelope line make the gift feel meant for the two of them.

Keep inside jokes out of a card that others may read first, such as a receptionist or a nurse.

Office lobbies and reception desks

Flowers sent to a workplace need the company name as it appears in the lobby, the recipient's name and a department or floor. Large office buildings have many tenants, so a suite number saves time at the front desk.

Send it on a weekday when the person is sure to be in. A preferred hour can be noted as a request, but no hour is guaranteed, and an office that empties early may be better served by a morning order.

Those who order flowers for a colleague often forget the floor; add it, and the arrangement reaches the right desk rather than the mailroom. A florist in Arlington Heights delivers to the suite named on the order.

Unit numbers and building buzzers

An apartment or condominium order needs the unit number, and a building with a front desk or a buzzer panel may need the name printed on the directory. Put any entry detail in the delivery notes as a request.

Flower types may be substituted with others the florist has on hand, but the size, shape and value of the arrangement stay the same, and a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you after it is made.
