Gonzales County, TX Flower Delivery

Four ZIP Codes, Four Addresses

Gonzales County runs to 1,067 square miles for 20,040 people, and four ZIP codes carry every one of them: 78629 at the seat, 78140 at Nixon, 78159 at Smiley and 78959 out at Waelder. An order that names the town as well as the number never has to be guessed at.

The city of Gonzales, TX keeps its own page, separate from this county listing, and the two cover different ground even though they share a name. Four ZIP codes across 1,067 square miles is a wide spread, and an address without a town on it can land twenty miles wrong.

Workplace addresses take a delivery right through the afternoon; a ranch house on a county road does not. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday in all four Gonzales County towns, Sunday delivery is not available, and the window on any working day is between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Sympathy Orders for a Nixon Service

A standing spray is sized for a chapel floor and a room arrangement for a bedside shelf, and the two are not interchangeable. The Heights of Gonzales takes the second kind most weeks, and the staff will move anything tall before the family sees it standing in the wrong place. Both kinds want a room number written on the order rather than a note about the entrance.

A Sunday service at Nixon has to be answered by the Saturday arrival before it, so the order really wants placing on the Friday. Order before 1 PM Central time and same-day flower delivery still reaches a 78140 address on the day it is bought.

Seasonal Swaps on a Waelder Order

The supply changes from one week to the next, and a florist filling a Waelder order substitutes the closest equivalent when a particular stem is not available. What holds is the type of arrangement: the size, the shape and the value a 78959 sender bought stay with it.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes back at no extra charge, which is the only view a sender several states away will get of a Smiley porch. Memorial Hospital in Gonzales is the one address where the room number matters more than the photo does.

Towns Spread Over 1,067 Square Miles

Nixon and Smiley sit south west of the seat, Waelder sits north of it, and the driving between them is the reason an early order beats a late one here. Nothing in this county is far by Texas standards, but nothing in it is close either.

The towns are wide enough apart that a wrong name means a wrong direction rather than a wrong street. Waelder is nearer the northern line than the seat is, and Smiley sits well south of both, which is worth a second look before the order goes in.

Gonzales, Nixon, Waelder and Smiley each open on a listing of their own under this one. The Texas county index covers the rest of the state, Guadalupe County, TX lies to the west, and Lavaca County, TX takes over to the east. Browse the catalog of arrangements to settle the shape before the town.
