Caldwell County, TX Flower Delivery

The Towns Under Lockhart and Luling

Only three towns keep pages beneath this one, and at 545 square miles Caldwell County is small by Texas standards, which makes this ground a driver can cross in under an hour. The seat is Lockhart, with Luling and Martindale either side of it.

The town of Caldwell, TX keeps its own separate page and sits in another county entirely, so the name is shared and nothing else is. Three ZIP codes cover this ground: 78644, 78648 and 78655. The rest of the state is indexed on the Texas county list.

Sympathy Orders at Lockhart

Chisolm Trail Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center both sit at Lockhart, the Caldwell County seat, and a vase for a resident there wants the full name written out rather than a room number. Sympathy work goes to the chapel instead, and it needs the service hour on the order.

A Lockhart Sunday service needs Saturday. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all three Caldwell County towns, and Sunday delivery is not available. Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A Birthday at Martindale

Most of the week is not sympathy work. Birthdays, anniversaries and thank you orders run steadily out of a county of 52,430 people, and none of them turn on a named minute.

An order placed before 1 PM Central time gets same-day flower delivery to a Caldwell County address, and a specific hour can be asked for on the order without ever being fixed. Ask for the early half of the window for a workplace and the later half for a house where somebody gets home from work.

Lockhart and Luling are close enough together that a driver often has both on one round, which helps an afternoon order more than it helps a first thing one. Martindale sits further out at the western corner, and an order for it is better placed early in the day than late in it.

Substituted Stems on a Luling Order

Stem types are substituted for what the florist can actually get on the morning of the run, and the arrangement type does not move with them: a Luling piece is built to the size and the value that was paid for. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge, so a Martindale sender who has never seen the porch gets the same look at it as somebody living on the street.

Substitution is worth understanding rather than worrying about. It is not a downgrade and it is not a surprise: it is what keeps an order from falling over because one variety did not come in that week, and the piece that arrives is the piece that was bought, built out of what was actually fresh.

Anything wrong with a Lockhart delivery has three days to be raised. The catalog shows each design at the size it sells in, so the piece in the picture and the piece at a Martindale door are the same object. Six Texas counties border this one: Hays County, TX lies to the west, while Bastrop County, TX runs up to the northeast.
