Blaine County, MT Flower Delivery

Ordering Before the 1 PM Line

The question a sender two zones away actually has is what time it is in Chinook. An order placed before 1 PM Mountain time reaches a Blaine County address that same working day, and the hour is measured where the flowers land rather than where the card is written.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across Blaine County, and Sunday delivery is not available. Arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM, which leaves room for the driving: 6,903 people are spread over 4,228 square miles of Montana, and the road between two stops is often the longest part of the day.

Four Towns Under Chinook

The seat is Chinook, and Sweet Memorial Nursing Home there takes flowers at reception rather than at a room door. Harlem, Fort Belknap Agency and Hays each keep a page of their own beneath this county.

Blaine County has only three ZIP codes, 59523, 59526 and 59527, and the four towns divide them. Naming the town as well as the code is worth doing here, where a single code can cover more ground than some whole counties do.

Distance is what the code is really for out here. Fort Belknap Agency and Hays are not a short hop from one another, and an order that arrives at the late end of the window usually arrived there because the town line was left blank. Filling it in takes a second.

Funeral Flowers for Harlem and Hays

A funeral in Blaine County is usually a Chinook or a Harlem address, and the timing runs backward from the service rather than forward from the order. A standing piece wants to be at the building before the family is, so an order the day before beats an order at the 1 PM line on the day itself.

For a sympathy order going to a house instead, a low arrangement is the safer pick. It does not need a table cleared for it, and it does not have to be moved again when people start arriving.

A hospital order is a different shape again. Reception takes it, a corridor comes first, and one bedside surface is usually all there is, so a compact bowl outlasts a tall piece by several days in a room like that.

Choose a Shape That Fits

Shape follows the room. A hospital tray table takes a compact bowl, a reception counter at Sweet Memorial Nursing Home takes something with a footprint it can keep, and a kitchen in Hays takes height. The arrangement catalog shows what a florist near Chinook can build to.

Substitution is the other half of choosing. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and in a Blaine County March that is not a formality. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once it is made, at no extra charge, so the sender sees what actually went to the door.

Color is the part most senders hand to the florist, and in a county of 6,903 people that is the sensible call: the week's stems are the week's stems. Saying what the flowers are for gets closer to the right piece than naming a variety does.

Blaine County, MT sits on the Montana county index, and Chouteau County, MT is the one next door to the south.
