Taft Southwest, TX Flower Delivery by Hand

Flower delivery in Taft Southwest, TX goes to a census-designated place with 1,296 people (2020) in San Patricio County, TX, and it shares ZIP 78390 with its neighbor Taft, TX. That shared code is the first thing to know before ordering flowers delivered here, because a sender who picks the wrong one of the two names sends the arrangement to the wrong place. Taft Southwest TX is a small address with a simple rule: order before 1 PM Central time for the same business day, Monday through Saturday, never on Sunday.

The sections below begin with the size of the place, move on to the county and its neighbors, and finish with the Sunday problem that every delivery week has.

The 1,296 people of Taft Southwest and the address a florist needs

With 1,296 residents (2020) on a land area of 0.517 square miles, nearly every order here is a house address, and a florist near Taft Southwest works from a street, a name and a ZIP. A gate or a side door belongs in the notes, along with anything else that saves a hand-off at the porch.

Taft Southwest flower delivery lands between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. A time can be requested in the notes and never guaranteed, so name the part of the day that matters, such as the afternoon, and leave the exact hour to the florist.

Substitution applies to every order. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. A recipient who is picky about color is better served by a short note than by a long one.

A house number on the mailbox, or a description such as the white house with the porch, helps a stranger find the door quickly. For a recipient who works during the day, the notes can say that the late afternoon is better; the window still runs to 7 PM.

Sinton, the county seat, and where this place sits

The county has its seat in Sinton, which is a separate order from this one. Sinton, TX, Portland, TX and Gregory, TX are the towns a sender is likeliest to confuse with the one on this page, and each has its own ZIP.

The county next door, Nueces County, TX, and Bee County, TX further out are separate orders too. For a recipient across a line such as Jim Wells County, TX, the same rules apply with a different town on the form.

Some senders start by searching for a flower shop in Taft Southwest. The order form on this page covers the same ground, and a florist in Taft Southwest or nearby makes the arrangement, so there is no counter to find. The Texas delivery page is the place to start for a recipient in another town.

The county page lists Ingleside, TX, Mathis, TX and the other towns in the county that have pages here, so a sender who knows a relative lives somewhere in the county can see the options before ordering.

Taft Southwest or Taft on the order form

A recipient who lives in Del Sol, TX or in Odem, TX is a different order from one in this place. Taft Southwest is a census-designated place with no town hall, so a mailing address may name Taft instead; copy the address from an envelope and not from memory.

If the address says Taft, put Taft on the form. If it says Taft Southwest, put that. Either way ZIP 78390 and TX complete it, and flower deliveries follow the address as typed. Texas has plenty of towns that sound alike, so the state and ZIP are the last check before paying.

Funeral flowers in Taft Southwest go to the service address the family gives, with the hour of the service in the notes. Anyone who wants to send flowers to Taft Southwest for a family needs only that address and a name for the card.

Because the two places share a ZIP, the safest habit is to copy the full mailing address exactly as the recipient writes it, including the town line. A relative who has the envelope at hand can read it out in seconds.

Sunday parties and Saturday flowers

Sunday delivery is not available, so a birthday in Taft Southwest that falls on a Sunday gets its flowers on Saturday or on the Monday after. Pick the day when the recipient will be home and say on the card which one it is.

Same day flower delivery in Taft Southwest needs the order in before 1 PM Central time. Order flowers on Saturday morning for an afternoon party that day, and expect a photo of the finished arrangement once the florist has made it, at no extra charge.

The arrangement range shows each design and size. A small vase suits a kitchen table, and a larger piece suits a room where guests will gather, so think about where the flowers will stand before choosing.

Sunday is the day with no deliveries at all, so planning for Saturday is also the way to be sure the arrangement is there when guests arrive. A card that says the flowers came a day early on purpose reads as thoughtful and not as late.
