Taft, TX Flower Delivery, Hand-Made

Taft TX is a city of 2,799 people (2020) in San Patricio County, TX, and a sender has to separate it from Portland, TX and Gregory, TX nearby, from Sinton, TX, the county seat, and from a neighbor with almost the same name. The cutoff comes first: orders placed before 1 PM Central time can go out the same business day, delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. Flower delivery in Taft, TX is made by hand and delivered by hand, and the rest of the work is getting the address right.

ZIP 78390 and the Taft Southwest question

Taft Southwest, TX is a census-designated place that shares ZIP 78390 with the town this page covers, so an address that reads Taft may belong to either one. Ask the recipient which name appears on their mail and put that on the order, because the florist works from the address as typed.

Del Sol, TX and Odem, TX are further neighbors, each with its own page and its own order. Florists near Taft build for all of these addresses alike, so a sender who needs more than one place can place separate orders.

2,799 residents and what that means for the delivery address

The city counted 2,799 people in 2020 and has a land area of 1.669 square miles, so an order usually means a house with a street number, and sometimes a workplace or a care home. Put the type of place in the delivery notes, because a delivery to a business needs a different instruction than one to a porch.

Taft flower delivery lands between 9 AM and 7 PM. A time can be requested in the notes but never guaranteed, and a request for the afternoon is more useful than one for a single hour. Order flowers for a recipient at work only when someone will be there during those hours, since a closed office is a missed hand-off.

Sinton, the seat, and the towns near it

The county seat is Sinton, and the county page lists Ingleside, TX, Mathis, TX and the other towns with pages here, so a sender who knows only the county name still has a way to find the right one.

Nueces County, TX and Jim Wells County, TX border it, and recipients there are separate orders. To send flowers to Taft from another state, a street, a ZIP and a recipient name are all the form needs.

Sunday birthdays in Taft and the Saturday that fits

Sunday delivery is not available, so a birthday in Taft that falls on a Sunday gets its flowers on the Saturday before or the Monday after. The card can say which, so the bouquet reads as planned and not as late.

Same day flower delivery in Taft needs the order in before 1 PM Central time. Typing flower shop in Taft into a search box leads to an order form here, and a florist in Taft or close by makes the arrangement. A Saturday order is best placed in the morning.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, and a photo of the finished piece, sent at no extra charge, shows what was actually made.

Newborn flowers and who answers the door

For a new baby, ask the family when someone will be home. The first days are busy, and flowers delivered between 9 AM and 7 PM are handed to a person, so a day with a known visitor works better than a guess.

A small vase fits a crowded kitchen table. Name the baby on the card only if the family has already shared the name. The photo of the finished arrangement goes to the sender afterward, and the arrangement range shows the sizes.

Sympathy orders: the service address or the house

Funeral flowers in Taft follow the family's plans: the address of the service if one has been named, otherwise the house. Put the family name and the service hour in the delivery notes.

If the service falls on a Sunday, the flowers have to arrive on Saturday, since Sunday delivery is not available. A sympathy card works best short: a line about the person and a signature. Sympathy flowers are made by hand, and the Texas delivery page lists other towns for recipients elsewhere in the state.

A hospital or care-home recipient, and two namesakes

For a patient or a care-home resident, give the name as the facility knows it and add the unit or room if the family has it. Without a room number an arrangement is hard to place.

A town of the same name exists in California and another in Florida, so flowers delivered to the wrong state are a real risk when an order starts from a search box. The form should read Taft, TX and Texas before payment, with ZIP 78390 on the address.
