Lockwood, MT Flower Delivery by a Florist

A much larger city sits right beside this one, and a sender has to say which of the two the recipient lives in. That is the practical starting point for flower delivery in Lockwood, MT. A local florist ties the bouquet by hand, and it is delivered between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. Sunday delivery is not available.

Same day flower delivery in Lockwood works when the order is placed before 1 PM Mountain time. For a sender in the Central zone, that is 2 PM on the kitchen clock. A later order is scheduled for the following delivery day. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent after the florist has made it, at no extra charge.

Because the two places sit so close, the order summary deserves a last look before payment: the town name, the state and the ZIP should all point to the same address.

Billings is the seat, Lockwood is not

For an order, the CDP's county is Yellowstone County, MT, and Billings is the county seat. Billings, MT has a delivery page here, as do Laurel, MT and Park City, MT, and a recipient who uses one of those names should be ordered for there. Joliet, Hardin and Columbus are close as well.

Big Horn County, MT and Carbon County, MT border the county, and so do Stillwater County, MT and Rosebud County, MT. For an address in Lockwood itself, stay here. ZIP 59101 is the number to look for on the recipient's mail, and it is worth checking because the larger neighbor uses a similar range.

Lockwood and its namesakes

Places called Lockwood also exist in California and Missouri, so an order for flowers placed in a hurry can point at either. Before paying for flowers to be delivered, check that the order reads Montana and ZIP 59101.

A search for a flower shop in Lockwood can surface other states first. This page is for the Montana CDP, where the bouquet is ordered online and tied by a Lockwood florist or one close to the recipient. A search for Lockwood MT flowers reaches the same form, and Lockwood flower delivery works the same way for every address in the CDP, whatever the size of the piece.

Houses and small roads

In 2020 the CDP had 7,195 residents on 12.855 square miles, enough to suggest many houses, some apartments and a handful of businesses as delivery addresses. The notes on an order should name the kind: a unit number, a department, or a gate and a drive.

To send flowers to Lockwood from another state, ask the recipient to read the address from a bill. Flower deliveries here are made by hand, and a Lockwood florist can only work from what the order says, so a full name and a street beat a nickname and a neighborhood, and a sender who is unsure of a detail should leave it out rather than guess.

As a CDP, it has no town government, which means that the mailing line on the order is what identifies the place. A sender should copy that line as printed.

Waiting for the Sunday birthday

Nothing is delivered on Sunday, so a birthday on a Sunday is best met on the Saturday before. Order flowers early in the week, choose a size from the design catalog, and write the hour you would like as a wish. No hour is guaranteed, and the florist cannot promise one.

A birthday bouquet for a household here can be cheerful without being large; a modest vase on a kitchen table usually does more than a tall piece in a hallway. A card can carry a joke the two share, and the notes can carry the wish for an afternoon arrival.

A baby at home, and when to visit

New parents do not want a crowded table or a loud ring at the door, so flowers for a new baby in Lockwood are best as a low arrangement with a short card. Order flowers for a day when the family is likely to be home, and suggest a quiet part of the afternoon in the notes as a wish.

A plant is a good alternative for parents who would rather not change vase water during the first weeks, and the card can carry the baby's name if the family has shared it.

Sympathy at the chapel and at the house

Sympathy flowers to Lockwood go to the place named in the notice, which may be a chapel, a church hall or the family home. Funeral flowers in Lockwood should carry the family's name and the hour of the service in the notes. The Montana towns list shows the remaining places. Flower types may change with what the florist has on hand; the size, shape and value of the piece do not, so a larger spray stays larger.
