Mount Vernon, KY Flower Delivery

Birthday Flowers and the Drive Out

The nearest towns to Mount Vernon with their own pages are a drive away rather than a walk. Brodhead, KY, in the same county, has one, and Berea, KY and Crab Orchard, KY each have a page too. If the address names one of them, start there.

Mount Vernon has two ZIP codes, 40456 and 40473, and plenty of the addresses in them are farmhouses rather than houses in town. A rural stop is delivered within the same window of 9 AM to 7 PM, though it can come later in that span, so a birthday party in the afternoon is better served by a morning order.

To send flowers to Mount Vernon for a birthday, give the house address and the recipient's phone number. On a long gravel drive, that number in the notes is what gets the arrangement to the right door.

Anniversaries, graduations and thank-you flowers work the same way: the house address, a phone number, and a card signed the way the recipient knows you. Mount Vernon flower delivery reaches farms and town streets on one schedule.

Funeral Flowers in Mount Vernon

Funeral flowers in Mount Vernon usually go to the funeral home before the visitation begins. Put the name of the deceased, the family name and the service time into the notes so the arrangement reaches the right room.

Sprays and wreaths are what the funeral home setting calls for. For the family's house, a vase arrangement or a green plant is more practical, and it stays with them after everyone has gone home.

If a Rockcastle County service is set for a Sunday, plan for a Saturday arrival, since there is no Sunday delivery. A card with your name and a short line in your own words is all that is needed.

Sympathy flowers can also go to the house a week or two after the funeral, when the visitors have stopped coming and the rooms have gone quiet. A green plant suits that moment, since it asks nothing of a grieving family.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Mount Vernon KY

For flower delivery in Mount Vernon, KY on the same business day, the order must go in before 1 PM Eastern time. A sender on Central time sees that point arrive at 12 PM, and a sender on Mountain time at 11 AM.

Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. Arrangements arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM. A preferred time can be noted as a request, but no particular time can be guaranteed.

Around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter and Christmas the same-day cutoff may be earlier. For an address in 40456 or 40473 on those dates, ordering a day ahead is the safer plan.

A Friday evening order lands on Saturday at the earliest, and a Saturday afternoon order waits for Monday, because the delivery week stops at Saturday and picks up again on Monday.

Substitutions Keep Size and Value

Flower types may be substituted based on what the florist has on hand. The arrangement type never changes, so the size, the shape and the value stay as ordered, and the design is kept as similar as possible to the one you picked.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge. For a sender who lives outside Kentucky, that picture is the plain record of what the Mount Vernon florist made.

Nothing is boxed or shipped. The design is built by hand by a florist near the recipient and carried to the door, finished and ready to set down.

What a substitution looks like in practice: a carnation in a shade close to the one pictured, perhaps, or a different leaf behind the main flowers. The arrangement is never made smaller, and a vase design stays a vase design.

Hospital and Home Addresses

For a patient at Rockcastle County Hospital, include the full name and, if the family knows it, a room number. Some units do not accept flowers, so ask first, and choose a small arrangement that fits a bedside tray.

For a home, a medium vase suits a kitchen table, and the arrangement catalog shows each design in every size available. For a desk at work, add the business name and pick something compact.

Anyone searching for a flower shop in Mount Vernon will not find a counter here to walk into. The order is placed online, and a florist in Mount Vernon or near it makes it by hand.

For a resident of a care home, give the full name and keep the design compact. A retirement or a new job can go to the office, with the business name and a department on the order so it does not wait at a front desk.

Brodhead and the Surrounding Towns
