Harrodsburg, KY Flower Delivery by Hand

Burgin, Danville and Surrounding Towns

Harrodsburg is the county seat of Mercer County, KY, where about 23,515 people live across 249 square miles. Mercer County has no page of its own on this site, so its addresses are covered here and on the page for Burgin, KY, the other Mercer County town with a page. If the card reads Burgin, start there.

Danville, KY is a name that often turns up alongside this one, and it has a separate page. So does Perryville, KY. Next door, the Boyle County, KY page gathers the towns built for that county.

The ZIP code settles most doubts. An address ending in 40330 belongs on this page, even if the house sits outside the town limits, while a different ZIP code is a sign to look at the town list before paying. Wilmore, Nicholasville and Junction City are further Kentucky towns with pages that senders sometimes need, and the Kentucky delivery page covers the rest.

Funeral and Sympathy Arrangements

Funeral flowers in Harrodsburg go to the place of the service or to the family's house. Give the name of the person who died, the date and starting time of the service, and the family surname if the flowers are for the home.

Standing sprays and casket pieces are made for the service itself. For the house, a vase design or a plant can stay for weeks after the day. A Sunday service needs its flowers on the Saturday, since there are no Sunday deliveries.

Sympathy flowers to Harrodsburg do not have to arrive during the busy first days. An arrangement sent a week or two later, once the visitors have gone home, often means the most. A card with a short memory of the person is what families tend to keep.

If the person who died lived at one of the care homes in town, the staff who looked after them often feel the loss as well. A small vase design addressed to the staff, with the resident's name on the card, is a thoughtful gesture that few people think of, and it asks nothing of the family.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Harrodsburg KY

Orders placed before 1 PM Eastern time can reach the recipient the same business day. On Central time that line comes at noon on the sender's own clock, and on Mountain time at 11 AM.

Delivery takes place Monday through Saturday; Sunday is not available. Flowers are brought between 9 AM and 7 PM. You can write in a preferred time as a request, but no hour can be promised, and orders after the 1 PM line are prepared for the next delivery day.

For same day flower delivery in Harrodsburg around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas or Easter, remember that the same-day line can move earlier than usual, and order a day or two ahead.

Substitution Without Surprises

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. If a certain bloom is missing, a similar one is used, and the utmost care is taken to keep the design as similar as possible to what you ordered.

A vase design will not turn into a basket, and a large size will not come as a small one.

Once the florist has finished, a photo of the arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge. It shows which flowers went into the 40330 delivery, so nothing about a substitution comes as a surprise.

If something looks wrong in that picture or on the day, raise it within three days, since cut flowers do not keep. For an order in Mercer County the remedy can be a replacement, a refund or a partial credit.

Hospital and Care Home Deliveries

For a patient at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital, write the patient's full name and a room number if the family has shared one. A small vase or a plant suits a hospital room; tall pieces crowd the bedside table.

For residents at The Willows at Harrodsburg or at Harrodsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, include the resident's full name and room. A compact design with a mild scent is kind in a shared room.

For a house, the full street address and a phone number for the recipient are what the delivery needs. A line about the right entrance, a side porch or a back door, can go in the order as well.

Hospital stays are often shorter than senders expect. If the patient is likely to be home within a day, sending to the house means the flowers are enjoyed for a week instead of an afternoon.

Picking Among the Designs

People who search for a florist in Harrodsburg or a flower shop in Harrodsburg sometimes expect a counter to order from. There is no storefront here to walk into; the choosing happens in the catalog, and a Harrodsburg florist near the recipient arranges the design by hand.

Each design comes in several sizes. A hospital tray suits the smallest, a kitchen table the middle, and a front room or a service the largest. The price is for the arrangement; the delivery charge is added when you check out.

To send flowers to Harrodsburg for a birthday, bright mixed colors are a safe start. Flower delivery in Harrodsburg, KY follows the same terms throughout Kentucky: an Eastern time cutoff and a design made by hand.
