Greensburg, KY Flower Delivery in Green County

Funeral Flowers and Sympathy Deliveries

Greensburg is the seat of Green County, KY, a county of about 11,552 people spread over 286 square miles, and it runs on Central time. Those two facts shape every order here, and most of all a funeral order, where the service time is fixed and the flowers have to be in place ahead of it.

Funeral flowers in Greensburg go either to the place of the service or to the family's home. Put the name of the person who died, the date and starting time of the service, and the family surname in the notes. A standing spray belongs at the service; a vase design or a plant belongs at the house, where it can stay for weeks.

Deliveries do not run on Sunday, so a Sunday service needs flowers on the Saturday. Sympathy flowers to Greensburg can also go later, a week or two after the service, when the family is on its own again and a quiet arrangement is most welcome.

Summersville and Other Surrounding Towns

A sender can easily confuse the towns around here. Summersville, KY is the other Green County town with its own page, and a card for an address there belongs on that page, not this one. Campbellsville, KY and Columbia, KY are close by and have pages too.

Green County has no page of its own on this site, so its addresses are covered here and on the Summersville page. Next door, the Larue County, KY page lists the towns built for that county.

The simplest check is the ZIP code. An address ending in 42743 belongs on this page. Magnolia, Edmonton and Buffalo are further Kentucky towns with pages that senders sometimes need, and the Kentucky page lists the rest of the state.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Greensburg KY

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time can reach a Greensburg address the same business day. Senders on Eastern time should read that as 2 PM on their own clock; on Pacific time it is 11 AM.

Deliveries run Monday through Saturday; Sunday delivery is not offered. The drop-off window is between 9 AM and 7 PM. A preferred hour can be requested in the notes, but no exact time can be promised, and after 1 PM Central the order is set for the following delivery day.

For same day flower delivery in Greensburg around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas or Easter, bear in mind that the same-day line can come earlier than usual, and order ahead where you can.

Kentucky spans two time zones, and Green County sits on the Central side. A sender who knows the state from a visit to a town on Eastern time should reset the mental clock by an hour: here the line is 1 PM Central, which gives an extra hour compared with those towns.

Substitution, Explained

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. If a particular bloom is not available, a close match is used, and the utmost care is taken to keep the design as similar as possible to the one in the catalog.

The arrangement itself does not change type. A round vase design arrives as a round vase design, at the size you paid for, and the color scheme is kept as close as the available stems allow. If you have a strong preference, such as no lilies in a house with cats, write it in the order notes as a request.

A photo of the finished piece is sent to you once it has been made, at no extra charge. For a sender several states away, that picture shows what actually went into the 42743 order.

Browse the Catalog, Pick a Size

Anyone looking for a florist in Greensburg, or searching "flower shop in Greensburg", should know how it works: there is no storefront here to walk into. You browse the arrangements online, and a Greensburg florist near the recipient arranges the one you choose by hand.

To send flowers to Greensburg for a birthday, a bright mix is the usual pick; for a thank-you, a smaller design that fits a desk. Every design comes in more than one size. The smallest suits a patient's tray at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. The middle size suits a kitchen or dining table, and the largest reads well in a front room or at a service.

The price covers the arrangement. A delivery charge is added at checkout, and several items to one address in one order are charged once.

Hospital and Care Home Addresses

For a patient at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, write the patient's full name and a room number if the family has one. Keep the design small; hospital rooms have little space to spare.

Hospital visitors often bring their own flowers, and a room can fill up fast. If you know the patient is going home within a day or two, the house address is often the better choice, and the arrangement will be there when they get home.

For a resident at Green River Trails, include the resident's full name and room, and choose a compact vase or a plant. For a house, the full street address and a phone number for the recipient make the delivery straightforward.

Whatever the address, flower delivery in Greensburg, KY follows the same terms: Central time, six delivery days, and a design made by hand.
