Covington, KY Flower Delivery by Hand

Fort Wright, Taylor Mill and Wilder next door

The city sits in Kenton County, KY, where Independence is the seat and more than a dozen other small cities take flower deliveries. The closest are Taylor Mill, KY, Fort Wright, KY and Wilder, KY, and each has its own delivery page. Plenty of addresses people think of as local are in one of them, so check the town on the recipient's mail.

Over the state line, Hamilton County, OH is in Ohio, and flowers for addresses there go through separate pages. Within Kentucky, Boone County, KY and Campbell County, KY each list their own towns. If the recipient's address carries OH, this is not the page.

With 40,949 residents counted in 2020 across 13.197 square miles, there are houses, apartments, offices, care homes and a college campus here, and flower orders go to all of them. The city uses several ZIP codes, including 41014, 41011, 41017, 41015 and 41016, so the right one on the order matters.

Same day flower delivery in Covington needs the order placed before 1 PM Eastern time. A Central sender meets that line at noon by their own clock, and a Pacific sender at 10 AM. After that, the order is made up on the next delivery day.

Covington flower delivery to an apartment and to a house on a quiet street follows the same window, 9 AM to 7 PM, and an hour that suits the recipient can go in the notes as a wish. The florist sees it, but no hour can be promised.

Covington orders bound for seven other states

Towns with this name also exist in Georgia, Tennessee, Washington, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio and Indiana, so a sender who searches the name alone can order flowers for the wrong state. Before paying, confirm that the address says KY and the ZIP is one of the five listed above.

The mix-up is easy with relatives who moved long ago. A quick message to the family asking which state settles it before the florist starts. Flower delivery in Covington, KY only begins once the state and the ZIP agree.

For a student at Gateway Community and Technical College, send the flowers to the student's home address rather than to a campus building, since a classroom is a poor place for a delivery. Graduation flowers are best delivered to the family home the morning of the ceremony.

A florist near Covington can make a bright, compact design that travels to a party at a family house without trouble. Put the student's name on the card and the event date in the notes, and order a day or two ahead in May and June.

An apartment building needs the unit number on the address line and any buzzer code in the notes. An office needs the company name and the department, and many offices close early on Saturday.

A room at The Pavilion at Kenton

For a resident at The Pavilion at Kenton, the order needs the resident's full name and the room number. A compact design suits a bedside table, and the notes can mention if the resident has allergies or is sensitive to scent.

Rosedale Green is another care setting in the city, and the same rule applies there: full name, room number and a design small enough for the space. Some care settings ask that plants in soil stay out of resident rooms, so a cut arrangement is the easy choice.

Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, between 9 AM and 7 PM, and there is no Sunday delivery. A visit on a Sunday afternoon pairs well with flowers delivered on Saturday, which are still fresh when the family arrives.

A patient at either care setting should have the flowers sent to the building's main address with the room number on the order. If you do not know the room, the resident's full name and the name of the wing are the next best thing, and the notes can say so plainly.
