Lyons, KS Flower Delivery in a Vase

Funeral Flowers in Lyons

The gap between a boxed shipment and a hand-delivered arrangement is widest at a funeral. A carton of loose stems left at a service helps nobody, while a standing spray or a wreath carried in by hand is ready the moment it arrives. Funeral flowers in Lyons are made by a florist near the recipient and brought to the church, the funeral home or the family's house.

Write the name of the venue and the service time in the order notes, along with the name of whoever will receive the piece. For a service on a Monday, order on Saturday, since Sunday delivery is not available.

Sympathy flowers to Lyons often go to the home instead, in the days after the service. A vase arrangement or a peace lily is the usual choice there, and a short card signed with the name the family knows you by is enough. If the obituary names a charity in place of flowers, a plant sent to the home a few days later follows the family's wishes and still says you are thinking of them.

Birthdays, Anniversaries and New Babies

A birthday bouquet from a Lyons florist arrives upright, in water and ready for the table. For an anniversary, add a line to the notes about whether the couple will both be home, and put the recipient's phone number on the form.

New baby orders do well as compact designs that can sit out of reach. Get well flowers for a patient at Hospital District #1 of Rice County need the full name and the room, and a quick check with the family that flowers are allowed.

Thank-you orders follow the same path, whether they go to a neighbor or to a colleague at work. For an office in town, name the business and the floor as well as the person, so the arrangement reaches the right desk rather than the first one inside the door.

Picking an Arrangement by Size

The arrangements in the catalog are sorted by occasion, and each can be ordered in more than one size. For a house you have never visited, the larger size is the safer choice, since a small design can look lost on a long table. For a desk or a hospital tray, go smaller.

Anyone who searches for a flower shop in Lyons is usually hoping for someone nearby who can make and bring the piece. There is no storefront attached to this page; the order is placed here and made by hand by a florist in Lyons or close to it.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. In a county of 9,284 residents, a given lily or rose may be missing on the morning of your order, and a bloom of similar color and form takes its place.

Addresses Across ZIP 67554

Lyons is the county seat of Rice County, KS, which spreads across 726 square miles. The county has no page of its own on this site, so every address sharing ZIP 67554 is handled here, from offices near the courthouse to houses at the edge of town.

Write the physical street address rather than a post office box, and mention a side entrance if the front door is rarely used. For a workplace, name the business and the department, since offices empty well ahead of the evening.

For flower delivery in Lyons, KS to a farm, a note about the turnoff or the color of the house helps whoever is carrying the arrangement find the right door.

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time can reach a Lyons address the same business day. That hour governs same day flower delivery in Lyons, and it is the recipient's clock in Kansas that counts. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. Arrivals come between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a preferred hour can be noted as a request rather than a promise.

Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter can pull the same-day cutoff earlier, so plan Rice County holiday orders with a day to spare.
