Highland, KS Flower Delivery from a Local Florist

Chapel Oaks Funeral Home flower orders

Chapel Oaks Funeral Home is where many services in town are held. For an arrangement there, give the name of the deceased and the service date and hour in the notes, so the flowers arrive before the family does. A standing piece or a larger vase suits the chapel; a plant or smaller vase to the family's house works better in the days after, when the visitors have gone.

Funeral flowers in Highland follow the same clock as any order: in before 1 PM Central time for same-day, Monday through Saturday. For a morning service, placing the order the day before is the safer choice, and for a Monday service, Saturday is the last delivery day beforehand.

Highland Community College dorm deliveries

A student at Highland Community College needs flowers delivered to a residence hall and room, or to a building and office for a staff member, with the first and last name as the college spells it. Deliveries arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM, so an address where someone is in during the day works best, and a phone number in the notes helps.

Eight other states have a town by this name, including New York, California and Illinois, so a quick check that the order says Kansas and 66035 keeps the flowers from going astray. A bouquet sent to the wrong state cannot be turned around once it is on its way.

Farm lanes and the 66035 delivery window

With 919 residents at the 2020 census and about half a square mile of town, much of the delivery area is farmland around the edge. For a rural route, give the road name and number as the post office writes it, and a landmark in the notes. A phone number helps when the house sits back from the road.

The town sits in Doniphan County, KS, where Troy, KS is the county seat. Wathena, KS and Hiawatha, KS are close enough that friends call them home, so check the ZIP on the recipient's mail before you order flowers. Over the state line, Buchanan County, MO in Missouri has its own page, and the Kansas delivery page covers the rest of the state.

An anniversary vase for the dinner table

Anniversaries rarely fall on a convenient day. Delivery runs Monday through Saturday, and there is no Sunday delivery, so a Sunday anniversary in Highland is usually marked with flowers on Saturday. For a weeknight, send them to the house for the evening, or to work if the partner is there all day.

Pick a design from the catalog, write a card that names the year or a shared memory, and a florist in Highland or nearby makes it by hand. A low vase suits a dinner table; a taller one suits a sideboard.

Mending at home, with a bouquet

Get well flowers sent to the house tend to find the patient, while a hospital order may miss a discharge. Someone back from surgery may be sleeping at odd hours, so a note asking for a knock rather than the bell is kind, and the card can say you will call when they are up to it. A plant or compact vase that needs little care is a kind choice. Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to size, shape or value.

Same day flower delivery in Highland needs the order in before 1 PM Central time. On the East Coast that is 2 PM on the clock; on Pacific time, 11 AM. Flower delivery in Highland, KS for a Saturday follows the same hour.

Caps, gowns and a bouquet at commencement

Graduation weekend brings families to town and keeps florists busy. Order a day or two early and send the flowers to where the graduate is staying. The card can name the degree or the program, and a vase that travels well is kind if the graduate is packing up soon. For a student who shares a rented house with friends, the house number and the student's full name are enough; for a residence hall, the hall and room belong on the order too. School events such as a final concert or a sports banquet work the same way: send to where the person will be that afternoon, and put the event in the notes.

Retirement cake and flowers at a Highland desk

For a retirement or a promotion, send to the workplace with the business name and department, and a note if the office closes early on Friday. A medium design sits well on a reception counter, and a plant is a gift the retiree can take home and keep. If the celebration happens at a house instead, use that address and the day of the party.

Flower deliveries to offices arrive between 9 AM and 7 PM, so a morning order gives the office the whole day with the flowers. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge.
