Florence, KS Flower Delivery by Hand

Florence inside the Marion page

This is one of the smaller towns in Marion County, KS, and the county seat is Marion. Courthouse offices and county business sit in Marion, so flowers for someone who works there should go to Marion, KS. This page covers flower delivery in Florence, KS itself, ZIP 66851.

Other towns nearby have their own pages too. If the recipient's mail says Peabody, use Peabody, KS; for Hillsboro, use Hillsboro, KS. Over the county line, Butler County, KS and Harvey County, KS list their towns. A florist near Florence works from the town on the order, not the one a sender remembers.

The time question comes up most often from people far away. Same day flower delivery in Florence needs the order in before 1 PM Central time. A sender on Eastern time meets that line at 2 PM on their clock; a sender on Pacific time meets it at 11 in the morning. Miss it, and the design is made for the next delivery day.

Flowers are handed over between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available. A particular hour can be mentioned in the notes as a preference only.

Checking which state the Florence flowers reach

The name is a common one, and an order for flowers can end up pointed at the wrong one. Flowers meant for Kansas have been ordered for towns called Florence in Texas, Oregon, South Carolina, Alabama and Arizona, and the same can happen with the Florences in Kentucky, Montana, Colorado and Mississippi.

Before paying, read the delivery line on the order summary. It should end with Kansas, or KS, and ZIP 66851. If the delivery address shows South Carolina or Alabama, the flowers are headed for the wrong state, and it is far easier to fix before the order goes through than after.

The time zone is a second clue. An order for flowers delivered here always follows Central time, so if the page you are on quotes another zone, it is the wrong town. A sender who lives in one of those other states is the most likely to slip, because search results lean toward the local town; typing the ZIP instead of the name avoids it.

People searching for a flower shop in Florence or a Florence florist land here as well. No storefront sits behind the page; a local florist arranges the design by hand and it is delivered in person.

Delivering to a town of 393

Florence had 393 residents at the 2020 census, on well under a square mile, so almost every order goes to a house on a handful of streets, with some farms beyond town. A house in town needs only its street and number. For a farm, write the address the way the recipient's mailbox shows it and add a landmark in the notes. Farm families may be out in the fields or working in another town at midday, so a note saying which door gets used, or whether the porch is shaded, helps the flowers wait in good shape.

A small town means the recipient is easy to find but not always home. Put a phone number on the order. For a surprise, let one person in the household in on it so someone answers the door during the delivery window.

Florence flower delivery for a funeral usually goes to the funeral home or church named in the notice, with the name of the deceased and the service time on the order. A plant or a small vase design suits the family's home afterward, and sympathy flowers to Florence homes are often sent a week or two after the service, when the house has gone quiet.

Moving a birthday order off the closed day

Sunday is the one day with no flower deliveries at all. A Florence birthday that lands on a Sunday therefore gets its flowers on the Saturday before or the Monday after. Saturday is usually the better choice, because the bouquet is already on the table when the birthday morning comes.

Write the card so the early arrival makes sense, and sign it with the name the recipient knows you by. A vase design lasts about a week, which covers the weekend and more. For a milestone birthday, a larger size makes the point without changing the style. It is easiest to order flowers for a Saturday arrival on the Thursday or Friday, with the whole catalog to choose from and no rush.

If a flower in the chosen design is short, types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it is sent to you at no extra charge.

To send flowers to Florence, pick a design from the catalog and give the address. For other towns in the state, use the Kansas delivery page; for this one, Florence KS and ZIP 66851 are what the order should show.
