Gray County, TX Flower Delivery

A Funeral Order at Pampa

Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home and Winegeart Funeral Home both sit in Pampa, and between them they carry most of the sympathy work in Gray County. A standing spray is cut for a chapel floor; what goes to a house afterward is smaller and meant to last the week out. Lefors is the smallest of the three towns and the one most often left off an order form.

Robertson Funeral Directors handles the McLean end of the county. A Sunday service at McLean has to be covered by the Saturday arrival before it, and for a 79057 address that makes the order a Friday decision rather than a weekend one.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across Gray County, Sunday delivery is not available at Pampa, Lefors or McLean, and the window on the days it runs is between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Lefors Addresses and McLean ZIP Codes

Three ZIP codes cover the whole of Gray County: 79065 at Pampa, 79057 at McLean and 79054 at Lefors, TX. That is unusually tidy for 926 square miles, and it means an address with a town name on it is almost never ambiguous.

Pampa Regional Medical Center and the offices along the main street take deliveries through the working day, while a farm address out toward the Gray County line wants a contact name on the order. An address that names neither its town nor its ZIP is a real problem here rather than a small one. Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery to any of the three towns, and the hour belongs to the recipient rather than the sender.

Pick a Vase for Pampa

A tall arrangement reads well on a hallway table in Pampa, TX and badly on a tray at McLean Care Center, where the staff move it the first time they need the space. Getting the height wrong costs more on a 79065 order than any other detail on the form does.

Scent is the second decision. A closed hospital room takes much less of it than a chapel does, and Pampa Nursing Center will move a strong arrangement out to a corridor rather than argue about it. The catalog of arrangements sets the shapes beside one another at the sizes they are sold in, which settles a 79065 order faster than any written description does.

Substituted Stems on a Lefors Order

The Texas panhandle does not supply the same flowers every week of the year, so a florist filling a Lefors order swaps a stem that is not available for the closest equivalent she has. What a 79054 order buys is the type of arrangement, and that does not move: the size, the shape and the value come through the swap intact.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to whoever placed it, at no extra charge, which for an order bought from another state is the whole of the confirmation. The three town pages sit below this one: Pampa, McLean and Lefors. The Texas county index carries the rest of the state, and Carson County, TX is the one neighbor page directly to the west.
