Flowers Across Galveston County, TX

Sixteen Towns on and Off the Island

Galveston County is the smallest area on this stretch of the coast at 379 square miles, and the sixteen towns of Galveston County share it between the island and the mainland. League City, Friendswood and Texas City hold most of the 367,407 residents; Jamaica Beach, San Leon and Tiki Island hold the rest of them.

The city of Galveston, TX keeps a separate page of its own, and this one is the county listing that gathers the mainland towns in with it. Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery to any of the twenty-five ZIP codes here, from 77554 at the west end of the island to 77546 up at Friendswood.

Addresses at Texas City and Dickinson

A street address on the island and a street address in Texas City, TX are two different problems. Causeway traffic decides the first and very little decides the second, so an island order placed early in the day has an easier afternoon than one placed late.

Apartment blocks at Kemah and gated streets around Friendswood want a unit number and a contact name written on the order. Twenty-five ZIP codes for sixteen towns is more than a county this size usually carries, and the extra ones are worth checking twice. Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across Galveston County, Sunday delivery is not available on the island or the mainland, and the window is between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A Memorial Spray for La Marque

Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson and Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City take the greater part of the sympathy work here, and a standing spray sent to either wants to arrive while the family is still receiving. A ward arrangement at Shriners Hospitals for Children is a different shape entirely: low, small and unscented.

A Sunday service at La Marque has to be met by the Saturday arrival before it, which puts the order on Friday for a 77568 address. That one date is worth confirming before anything about the flowers is decided. The Meridian takes the quieter kind of order, and a room number there does more work than a street name.

Pick a Shape for League City

Height, scent and the room settle the order. A tall vase suits a League City hallway and is moved off a bedside table at once, and the salt air on the island is harder on some stems than on others. A Texas City address and a Bolivar Peninsula address are the same page and very different afternoons.

Substitution follows from that. When a bloom is not available the week a 77573 order lands, the florist swaps in the nearest equivalent, and the type of arrangement, its size and its value stay as bought. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge, island address or mainland one.

Browse the catalog of arrangements first, then open the town: League City, Dickinson, Texas City and Friendswood each keep a page under this one. The Texas county index carries the rest of the state, and Galveston County borders Harris County, TX inland to the north west with Brazoria County, TX along the coast to the south west.
