Dyer County, TN Flower Delivery

Four Towns and 512 Square Miles

Four towns and 512 square miles make Dyer County a wider delivery area than its 36,403 residents would suggest, and an address at Trimble in the north is a different run altogether from one at Fowlkes further south.

Dyersburg holds the courthouse and most of the named places, and 38024 is the ZIP code behind very nearly all of them. The population is spread thinly enough that one run can take in two towns.

The town of Dyer has a city page of its own and is a separate place that does not sit inside Dyer County at all, which is not something a search result will ever tell you. This page collects the four towns we build beneath the county itself.

A New Baby at Newbern

A new baby order at Newbern goes to a house far more often than to a ward these days, and the useful note is which door somebody will answer. Birthday orders want the evening half of the window, while a thank you sent to a workplace in 38024 wants the morning half.

Oakwood Community Living Center and Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center both take flowers at the front desk with a resident name written on the order.

Orders placed before 1 PM Central time reach a Dyer County address the same business day, flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday, Sunday delivery is not available in 38024 or 38259, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. A birthday order placed after lunch at Newbern is tomorrow's delivery rather than today's.

Substitution and the Same Size

Substitution keeps the size. Flower types get swapped for what the florist near Dyersburg actually has that morning, and the type of arrangement, its shape and its value all stay exactly where they were when the order was placed.

An order for one named stem into 38259 in January is the case the whole policy exists for, and what holds in that case is the size of the piece rather than the variety in it.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it is sent to the buyer at no extra charge, which is how a sender two states away knows what reached a house in Newbern. Mccreight Funeral Home takes standing pieces at the chapel, and a Sunday service there has to be met on the Saturday before it.

Browse by Room, Not by Height

Browse by the room the flowers are going into rather than by the photograph. The catalog lists each design at the size it is sold at, and a low bowl beats a tall vase on a tray at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center or a bedside at Okeena Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Color is the last of the decisions rather than the first, because it is the one the season moves around most.

Something for a family's own house after a service is a different order again, usually smaller and usually in a vase nobody has to deal with. Flower delivery here goes to an address rather than to a town, so the ZIP code and the door number matter more than which of the four is named.

The Tennessee county index carries the rest of Tennessee, Obion County, TN lies to the north, and Lauderdale County, TN begins south of Dyer County.
