Centre County, PA Flower Delivery

Browse by Size for State College

The full catalog sorts by occasion before it sorts by flower, which is the quickest way to cut a long list down for a State College address. Size is the next question, and it is decided by the room rather than by anything else.

A piece for a bedside table at a care home has perhaps a foot of usable width. A piece for a hall table at Boalsburg can take three times that and still look restrained, so the setting is worth a line on the order.

Color comes after that, and the season narrows it further. Centre County sits high enough that the growing year is short at both ends, which is visible in what a florist can put together in April.

The 1 PM Line for Philipsburg

Order before 1 PM Eastern time for same-day flower delivery to any of the 22 Centre County ZIP codes, 16801 at State College included. A sender on the Pacific coast is three hours behind State College, so the order has to leave before mid morning there.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across Centre County, PA, Sunday delivery is not available in any of its twenty-five towns, and arrivals fall between 9 AM and 7 PM. Mount Nittany Medical Center takes flowers at its own reception inside that window.

At 1,109 square miles this is one of the larger counties in Pennsylvania, and Philipsburg at the western edge is a long way from Millheim at the eastern one. An early address is worth more here than in a compact county.

Sympathy Flowers for Millheim Families

Wetzler Funeral Services at Bellefonte and Koch Funeral Home at State College carry much of the sympathy work here. Standing pieces belong at the service, and a Bellefonte chapel has the floor for what a valley parlor cannot hold.

Centre Care Rehabilitation and Wellness Services takes flowers at reception, and so does Foxdale Village. A resident name on the order beats a room number, since rooms change between the order and the delivery more often than a distant sender expects.

For a viewing in one of the smaller valley towns, ask for a piece two people can lift between them. A front room at Rebersburg is not a church aisle, and an arrangement built for the second one fills the first.

Substituted Stems and a Valley Frost

Flower types may be substituted for what the nearest florist holds that morning, with no change to the size, the shape or the value of the arrangement ordered at any of these 22 ZIP codes. Frost settles in these valleys earlier than the calendar suggests it should.

The swap is confined to the flower itself at every Centre County address. A Centre County order for a tall vase arrives as a tall vase, and the outline the buyer chose is the outline that turns up at the door.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once the florist has built it, at no extra charge. The Pennsylvania delivery index lists every county in the state, and Clinton County, PA begins north of the Centre County line.
