Dodge County, NE Flower Delivery by 1 PM

Fremont and Five Smaller Towns

Fremont is the seat and carries most of the 37,884 people counted here, with the 68025 ZIP code covering the hospital and the care homes. Scribner sits north, North Bend west along the river, and Hooper between them. Each of the six towns has a page with its own ZIP codes on it.

Dodge County covers 529 square miles, which is compact enough that the difference between one town and the next is minutes rather than an afternoon. It still pays to write the town name in full on the order, because a street name repeated in two towns is the commonest reason a delivery goes to the wrong end of a county this shape.

Sympathy Flowers and a Fremont Chapel

Methodist Fremont Health and Dunklau Gardens both sit under the 68025 ZIP code, and both take flowers at reception rather than at a room door. A sympathy piece for a service should be sized for the room it stands in, and a family arrangement should be sized for the kitchen table it will sit on for a week afterwards.

Nye Legacy Health and Rehabilitation Center and Nye Pointe Health and Rehab Ctr are two separate buildings with similar names, so the full name belongs on the order. A resident room number saves a second trip through a large building, and it costs one line to write. Dodge County has no shortage of addresses where that line is the difference.

1 PM Central, Scribner to Hooper

An order placed before 1 PM Central time reaches a Fremont, NE address the same working day, and that hour is the same in Scribner and in Hooper. Deliveries run Monday through Saturday in Dodge County, and Sunday delivery is not available, so a Sunday occasion has to be worked back to the Saturday.

The delivery window is 9 AM to 7 PM. A sender two zones west has to treat the Central hour as a morning deadline rather than a lunchtime one, which is the single detail that catches out most out of state orders. Nebraska sits an hour behind the eastern seaboard and two hours ahead of the west coast.

A Birthday in North Bend

A birthday order is easier than a funeral one, and it rewards a little thought about the room. A desk takes a compact vase; a North Bend front room takes height. Color is worth stating on the order, since a florist will follow a written preference and can only guess at anything left blank. A Scribner porch in July is a different problem again, because heat shortens the life of anything left standing in the sun.

Flower types can be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. A photo of the finished piece is sent once it is made, at no extra charge, which is how a sender outside Nebraska sees what actually arrived at the door.

The rest of the counties are indexed at Nebraska county flower delivery, and Douglas County, NE lies immediately south east of the Dodge County line. Shapes and sizes are on the arrangement pages.
