Moscow PA Flower Delivery, Hand-Delivered

Sending flowers to a small borough from another state raises the timing question first. Flower delivery in Moscow, PA, follows 1 PM Eastern time: an order placed before that hour can arrive the same business day, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday delivery is not available.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a particular time can be requested, though it stays a request. Same day flower delivery in Moscow runs on the recipient's Eastern clock, so a sender on the Pacific coast reaches the 1 PM mark at 10 AM at home.

Anyone looking for a flower shop in Moscow will find that florists near Moscow arrange the designs by hand, and a sender who wants to send flowers to Moscow PA starts with the form on this page. The borough is in Pennsylvania, and ZIP code 18444 covers it.

Moscow among the county's boroughs

The borough sits in Lackawanna County, PA, whose seat is Scranton, PA. The county page lists the other towns the site covers, which is the right place to look when a recipient lives outside the borough.

Counties next door have pages too, among them Wayne County, PA and Monroe County, PA. A recipient living near the line should be checked against the town printed on their mail before an order goes through.

Scranton is a much larger place, and a sender whose recipient lives there should use its page. For a Pennsylvania address that reads 18444, this page is the right one.

County pages exist to answer coverage questions, and for a borough this small a sender may need nothing else. A sender who knows only the recipient's last name can ask a relative for the street and the ZIP, which settles the page at once.

Which of three neighbors the mail names

Mount Cobb, PA, Dunmore, PA and Big Bass Lake, PA are close neighbors, and each is covered on a separate page for deliveries to its own addresses. A sender unsure whether a recipient lives in Moscow or beside it can compare the ZIP code, which is 18444 for this borough.

Pocono Springs, PA and Olyphant, PA complete the nearby list, with Throop, PA close behind. Orders for a neighbor go on the neighbor's page, because the florist works from street, town and ZIP together, and a delivery to the wrong town is the usual reason a bouquet takes longer than expected.

A florist in Moscow or nearby cannot guess between them, so the town printed on the recipient's mail is the tie-breaker.

Three states, one Moscow name

Tennessee, Idaho and Iowa each have a place called Moscow, so a sender searching the name alone can land on the wrong state. Look for PA and ZIP 18444 on the order before sending flowers delivered here.

Recipients sometimes give an address from memory, and the state is the part most often dropped. A short text asking them to confirm it saves a mistaken delivery.

A Sunday birthday and the Saturday option

Sunday delivery is not available, so a Moscow birthday on a Sunday is covered by a Saturday arrival. Place the order earlier in the week, and a note on the card can explain why the flowers came a day ahead. A bouquet delivery can also wait for Monday, which suits a recipient who works through the weekend.

The borough had 2,027 residents in 2020 and covers 2.849 square miles, so a recipient may live on a quiet street a little outside the center. Moscow flower delivery depends on a full street address more than on any other detail, and the photo of the finished arrangement shows the sender the result either way.

Whatever the day, the photo is the sender's check. It shows the finished piece, a few stems may differ from the catalog picture, and nothing about that changes the size or the value.

New baby flowers and a quiet house

A family with a newborn often keeps the door closed during the day. To order flowers for a new baby, asking for a late-afternoon window helps, though a specific time is only a request and cannot be promised.

A plant is a calmer choice for a household with a newborn, since it needs no fresh water each day. Cut stems suit a short visit and a plant suits a long recovery, and flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with size, shape and value unchanged.

Two addresses for one funeral

Funeral flowers in Moscow can go to a service or to the family at home. Ask the family which they prefer, and say on the order which address it is: a service address and a house address are two different deliveries.

For a resident at Saint Mary's Villa Nursing Home, ask the family for the full name and the room before ordering flowers. A name alone is rarely enough for a front desk, and a wrong room means a second attempt.

The borough has one cemetery, but flowers for a burial go to the funeral director or the place of worship, not to the grave. More towns across the state are on the Pennsylvania delivery page, and designs are in the catalog.
