Ord, NE Flower Delivery, Same Day by Hand

Birthday Flowers Delivered in Ord

Birthdays are the order placed most often here. The next towns with pages of their own are a drive away, so a birthday in Ord is ordered from this page rather than a neighbor's. Choose colors the person already likes and let the card sound like you.

For an anniversary, a single color, or two at most, looks more deliberate than a mixed bouquet. For a new baby, keep it compact; for a graduation or a retirement, something bright. Someone getting over an illness at home is easier to cheer with a small design that can follow them from the couch to the kitchen.

Relatives elsewhere in Nebraska and across the country often order flowers the evening they hear good news. That order is made up on the next delivery day, which leaves time to write a card that sounds like you rather than like a greeting card.

Holidays need a little planning. Close to Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter, the same-day cutoff for Valley County can come earlier than usual, and ordering a day ahead avoids a missed date.

Surrounding Towns and a Florist Near Ord

Ord is the county seat of Valley County, NE, a county of 4,032 people over 568 square miles, and the one town in the county with a page here. Burwell, NE and Loup City, NE each have their own pages. Over the county line, the Custer County, NE page lists several towns, and the Nebraska delivery page covers the rest.

That distance shapes the day. A florist near Ord arranges each design and it is delivered by hand, so a house in town and a farm miles out are both reached, though they may be reached at quite different hours within the window.

Browse by Color, Then by Size

Every design in the arrangement catalog is shown at each size. Start with color, then choose a size by the room: the middle size for a kitchen table, the smallest for a desk or a nightstand.

For a rural address, a sturdy vase or a basket rides better than a tall piece, and a plant is the sturdiest choice of all. One delivery charge is added at checkout per order to one address, so a bouquet and a plant for the same house are charged once.

Pick by color rather than by a single named flower. In a small Nebraska town, the look of a design is easier to keep than any one stem, and color is what the recipient notices first.

Substitution Without the Guesswork

If a variety is short on a given morning, another flower type may be substituted from what the florist has on hand. The arrangement keeps its size, shape and value, and a bloom of matching color stands in.

After it is made, a photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge. For someone ordering from far away, that picture shows what reached the address in 68862 or 68859, and it can be forwarded to the rest of the family who chipped in.

Addresses in 68862 and 68859

The town uses two ZIP codes, 68862 and 68859. Write the one on the recipient's mail, the street and number in full, and a phone number. A farm address should be written as the post office uses it. A post office box cannot take flowers.

Valley County Health System is the hospital here; for a patient, check that flowers are allowed and give the full name. Arbor Care Centers - Ord is a care home; for a resident, the resident's name and the home's name are enough, and a low design suits a shared room. Flower deliveries to a business should name the employer as well as the person.

Anyone searching for a flower shop in Ord finds no storefront to walk into on this site; the order is placed online and made up nearby.

Same Day Flower Delivery in Ord NE

An order placed before 1 PM Central time can reach an Ord address the same business day. On Eastern time the line is 2 PM, on Mountain time noon, and on Pacific time 11 AM.

Deliveries go out Monday through Saturday only, with nothing on a Sunday, so a Sunday birthday in Valley County is better met on the Saturday. Arrivals come between 9 AM and 7 PM, and a preferred time can be noted as a request, never as a fixed appointment.

Same-day flower delivery in Ord suits news that arrives before lunch. An order placed later is made up the next delivery day, and for a rural address that extra day can be the calmer choice.

Sympathy Flowers for Valley Families

Funeral flowers in Ord need the name of the person who died and the time and place of the service. A standing spray or a wreath is for the service; a vase arrangement or a plant is for the family's home.

To send flowers to Ord after the funeral, a few days later is often better, when the visitors have gone home and the house is quiet. Flowers sent to a church for a service should name the church and the time, and a Sunday service calls for flowers on the Saturday before. For flower delivery in Ord, NE, a problem should be raised within three days of delivery, and a replacement, a refund or a partial credit can follow. Ord flower delivery works that way for every order.
