Union Point, GA Flower Delivery, Same Day

Most orders for Union Point come from somewhere else: a son in another state, a friend who moved away, a cousin on the West Coast. For all of them the cutoff is the same fixed point, 1 PM Eastern time, and what changes is how that hour looks on their own clock. On Central time the line falls at 12 PM. For a sender on Mountain time it is 11 AM, and on Pacific time it is 10 AM. An order that misses it is not lost, only moved to the next delivery day, and if that would be a Sunday, it moves to Monday.

So a sender in a western state who wants flowers there today needs to order over morning coffee. Someone on Eastern time has the whole morning. Once the order is in, a florist near the recipient builds the arrangement by hand and carries it to the address in ZIP code 30669.

That is really all Union Point flower delivery asks of a distant sender: work backward from 1 PM on the Georgia clock, then get the address and phone number right. The rest of this page covers the details that tend to come up once those two are settled, from a care home order to a funeral.

Getting the Address Right

The address is the second thing that goes wrong for a distant sender. Write the full street address, not only a route number, and add a phone number for the recipient. For a rural lot, a note about a gate, a long drive or the color of the house helps. Post office boxes cannot receive an arrangement, so if a relative only gave you a box number, ask for the street address.

For a resident at Greene Point Health and Rehabilitation, put the resident's full name and room number on the order, and choose a compact vase that fits a nightstand. Workplaces in town need the person's name and a weekday delivery.

Picking Size and Color

In the arrangement catalog, pick the design first and the size second. The small size suits a desk or a bedside, the middle size suits most homes, and the largest is for a big room or a service. Reds and deep pinks are romantic; yellows, whites and bright mixes are right for a parent, a friend or a neighbor.

A plant outlasts cut flowers by weeks and suits someone who enjoys looking after something.

Birthdays, Graduations and Congratulations

A birthday is the one order where the same-day cutoff should never matter. The date is known, so choose it when you place the order, a day or two ahead. If it falls on a Sunday, pick the Saturday. The same goes for anniversaries, a graduation, a retirement or a new baby. Two or three lines on the card, with your name, say more than a paragraph.

Get well flowers are a little different: send them wherever the person is actually resting, whether that is at home or with family elsewhere in Georgia.

Sympathy Flowers and Service Pieces

Funeral flowers in Union Point should go to the funeral home or the church before the service, with the name of the deceased and the service time on the order. Choose a standing spray or a wreath for the service, and a vase or a plant for the family at home. When you send flowers to Union Point for a funeral from another state, confirm the time and the place with the family before ordering, and remember that a Sunday service needs a Saturday delivery.

Substitution, Explained Plainly

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement. The utmost care goes into keeping it close to what you picked; a stem of one variety may stand in for a similar one, and that is all. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent to you at no extra charge, which is the one direct look a far-off sender gets.
