College Park flower delivery, Fulton County GA

Two ZIP codes cover College Park

The town is one of more than a dozen in Fulton County, GA, and with Atlanta as the county seat and over a million people in the county, the county name on an order tells a florist very little.

For flower delivery in College Park, GA, the two codes are 30337 and 30349. Addresses in Union City, East Point or Hapeville carry their own codes, so if the family gives you a number you do not recognize, ask which town is printed on their mail.

For a recipient just over the county line in Clayton County, GA, start from a town in that county instead. Neighbors like Hapeville, GA and East Point, GA are ordered under their own names too, even when the houses sit a few streets apart.

For florists near College Park the terms are the same in every one of those towns: the photo, the substitution rule and the Monday through Saturday schedule. Only the address changes.

A resident's room at Healthcare at College Park

This care home is in town, and flowers for someone living there need more than a street address. Write the resident's full name, the room number and, if you know it, the wing, and make the home's name the first line of the address.

Rooms in a care home are often shared and short on table space. A compact arrangement, or a small plant that needs little looking after, fits better than a tall vase. Ask a relative first whether fresh flowers are welcome on the resident's floor.

Flowers reach the home between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, and there is no Sunday delivery at all. For a Sunday visit, choose Saturday, so the flowers are already on the windowsill when you arrive for the visit.

For a hospital patient, confirm the ward and room first. If that is unclear, flowers sent to the house for the homecoming are the safer choice.

Maryland has one too, check the order

Maryland also has a College Park, and a delivery search that skips the state may list that one first, in MD. If you order flowers for the wrong one, they go to a door hundreds of miles away.

The clock gives you no hint here. Read the order before paying: the state should say Georgia and the ZIP should be 30337 or 30349. A florist in College Park GA works from exactly that address.

With 13,914 residents in 2020, the Georgia town has a real mix of houses, apartments and offices, so add a unit or suite number to every order; a street address alone can leave the flowers at the wrong door of a big building.

The cutoff for same day flower delivery in College Park is before 1 PM Eastern time. Miss that hour and the order is made on the next day the schedule allows.

Rose shades may shift, size stays

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand. The size, shape and value of the arrangement stay as ordered, so a medium stays a medium and a round design stays round.

A swap usually means a different shade of rose or one kind of greenery in place of another. The design you chose from the arrangement catalog stays the reference for the finished piece. Designs built around one color family handle swaps best, because a florist can reach for another flower in the same shade.

If something arrives wrong, report it inside three days, since cut flowers fade fast. A new arrangement, a refund or a partial credit are the possible remedies for a 30349 or 30337 order.

Proof of the real flowers, by photo

After the florist makes the arrangement, a photo of the finished piece is sent to you at no extra charge. It shows the real flowers heading for the door, not the catalog image.

For a sender who lives far away, it is the one chance to see the gift. Any substitution shows up there first, before the recipient calls to say thank you.

In an apartment building, the photo also helps someone at home know what to look for at the front desk or in the mail room.

The photo is also a record. If a question comes up later about a 30337 or 30349 order, it shows what was made, which keeps a conversation about a replacement or a refund short.

Apartments and a plant that keeps going

Cut flowers make the stronger first impression and suit a birthday, an anniversary or a congratulations at a College Park home or office. With fresh water they hold up for about a week.

A plant keeps going much longer, which suits a slow recovery, a first apartment or someone who travels for work. Cut flowers delivered to an office brighten a desk for the week; a plant can stay for a year. Check that there is a windowsill before choosing a large one.
