Summit County, UT Flowers by Hand

Coalville is the county seat and Park City is where most of the 43,109 residents and most of the addresses are, which is the first thing a sender from out of state gets wrong. Order before 1 PM Mountain time for same-day flower delivery to 84060 or 84098 at the resort end, 84017 at the seat, or 84036 and 84033 in the Kamas valley.

Thirteen Towns, One Mountain Valley

The towns split into two groups. Park City, Snyderville and Silver Summit sit together on the western side; Coalville, Henefer and Hoytsville run along the river to the north east. Kamas, Oakley, Francis, Woodland, Marion, East Basin and Summit Park fill in the rest.

1,871 square miles with a mountain range through the middle means the driving distance between two addresses is often double the map distance. An order for Woodland is a different trip from an order two miles away as the crow flies, and that is why the town name belongs in the address rather than just the county.

Coalville Addresses and Seven ZIP Codes

Seven ZIP codes cover the county: 84017, 84033, 84036, 84055, 84060, 84068 and 84098. Park City Hospital is at the 84060 end and takes a room number at the desk rather than a department name.

Second homes are the local complication. A large share of Summit addresses are empty for weeks at a time, so confirm that somebody will be there before ordering to a house rather than to a workplace. A concierge desk or an office is the safer target when there is any doubt.

Coalville, Henefer and Hoytsville are the opposite case: small enough that a house is found on the first pass and a name on the order is often more useful than the street. Those three sit closer to each other than any of them sits to the resort side of the county, which is the geography this page exists to explain.

Seasonal Substitution and a Fixed Value

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, and the size, the shape and the value of the arrangement do not change with them. At this elevation the practical effect is larger than it would be lower down, because what can be held in a cooler through a Summit County winter is narrower than the catalog suggests.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge. The full catalog gives the built size beside each design, and that number is what carries over when a stem is swapped.

Same Day Orders for Kamas and Oakley

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday in Summit County, and Sunday delivery is not available anywhere in it, which matters more here than in most places because weekends are when the valley fills up. Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM.

A Sunday event at Oakley therefore needs a Saturday arrival, and a Saturday order placed after the hour becomes a Monday delivery. Ordering a day early removes both problems.

Of all the counties in Utah this is the one where the calendar and the weather argue with each other most often, because the busiest weeks are also the ones with the worst roads over the passes. A morning order is the simple answer to both. Wasatch County, UT lies south over the pass and Salt Lake County, UT west through the canyon; every page in the state is listed at Utah county flower delivery.
