Flower Delivery Across Zapata County, TX

Four Towns Under the Zapata Name

This page collects the whole county, and the town of Zapata has its own separate page beneath it, so a sender who wants one address rather than the county should start there instead. The seat and Zapata County share a name and very little else.

The other three towns are Siesta Shores on the reservoir, Falcon Lake Estates south of it and Medina inland, and all four sit inside 998 square miles of brush holding 13,819 people.

That is a very small number of people across a very large amount of ground, and it is the single fact that shapes every delivery here. Two addresses can share a town name and still be a long drive apart, so the town alone is rarely enough to place an order.

One ZIP Code and Many Addresses

78076 is the only ZIP code in the county, which means the ZIP alone will not place an order here: the street or the colonia name has to carry it. Falcon Lake Nursing Home takes flowers at the desk, and a resident's full name is the detail that gets them to the right room.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday in Zapata County, Sunday delivery is not available, and deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM. Order before 1 PM Central time and the same business day is available; after that hour the order moves to the next working day.

A workplace address is worth marking as one, because an office along the water closes earlier than a house does. A time can be asked for on the order, and it will be passed on as a request rather than held to.

Picking a Shape for Falcon Lake Estates

A low arrangement suits the lake houses at Falcon Lake Estates and Siesta Shores, where a table by a window is the usual place for it, while something taller works better in a house with a hall in the seat. Pick the size first in the full range of arrangements, because the reservoir houses and the houses in Zapata take different pieces.

A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once it has been made, at no extra charge, and for a sender several states from the river it is the only view of the door it reached. Anything that arrived wrong on a Zapata County order has three days to be raised, and a replacement, a refund or a partial credit closes it out.

Seasonal Stems and What Gets Substituted

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, which this far down the Texas border is a summer question more often than a winter one. The size ordered for a Medina address is the size that arrives at it.

Heat is the constraint here rather than frost, so the stems that hold up in July are not the ones that hold up further north. What does not change is the arrangement itself: the shape asked for and the value paid are both carried through.

Webb County, TX runs north west along the water and Starr County, TX lies south east of it. Every other county in Texas is listed in the Texas county index, and each of the four towns here keeps a page under this one.
