Flower Delivery Across Wise County, TX

Decatur Addresses and Nine ZIP Codes

Nine ZIP codes cover Wise County and they do not map neatly onto town lines: 76234 is Decatur, 76426 is Bridgeport, 76431 is Chico and 76225 belongs to Alvord. Writing the ZIP code on the order saves a phone call when the address is a county road number rather than a street name.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across the 904 square miles of Wise County, Sunday delivery is not available, and deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM. An address out near Runaway Bay is reached later in that window than one three streets from the Decatur square.

The county is long enough that the order of the stops matters more than the total distance. Two addresses that look close together on a map, one at Boyd and one at Chico, are on opposite sides of the day's route, and the ZIP code is what tells them apart before anyone sets off.

A Birthday Out at Runaway Bay

Order before 1 PM Central time and a birthday arrangement reaches the recipient the same business day, which in a county of 81,275 people spread between Newark and Alvord is worth more than an extra day of deciding. A morning order also leaves room to move it if nobody is home.

Say on the order whether the address is a house, a yard gate or a workplace. In the newer subdivisions around Rhome and New Fairview the house number is often the only marker on the street, while an older place near Paradise may be known by the family name on the gate instead.

A Funeral Service in Bridgeport

Bridgeport Medical Lodge and Heritage Place of Decatur both take flowers at the desk and carry them in, and a service in Bridgeport or Boyd usually needs the arrangement standing before the family arrives. Sympathy pieces are sized to the room they go into rather than to the value of the order.

The Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation is a third Decatur address where the resident's full name does more than a room number, since rooms change and names do not. A card written before the order is placed also saves the florist reading a message back over the phone.

Flower types may be substituted for what the florist has on hand, with no change to the size, shape or value of the arrangement, which for a standing piece in Wise County usually means a different filler behind the same flower. A photo of the finished arrangement is sent once it has been made, at no extra charge, and it is often the first thing a sender outside Texas sees.

Picking a Size for Chico Rooms

A compact arrangement suits the smaller front rooms in Chico and Alvord, while a Decatur house with a hall can carry something considerably taller. Pick the shape first in the full range of arrangements, because the shape is what a florist near Decatur cannot change after the order lands.

Eleven towns in Wise County keep pages of their own beneath this one, and each carries the ZIP codes and the named places that belong to it. This page is the level above them, for a sender who knows the county and is still working out which town the address is in.

Denton County, TX lies east of the Wise County line and Tarrant County, TX south of it, and each keeps a page of its own. The other counties in the state are listed in the Texas county index.
