Flowers Delivered in Swisher County, TX

Tulia Cutoff Hour, Nothing Hidden

Order before 1 PM Central time and same-day flower delivery is open to all three Swisher County ZIP codes, 79088 at Tulia among them. Anything later is written for the next working day, and the sender is told which day that is.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across the 890 square miles this page collects, Sunday delivery is not available, and deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM. Senders outside Texas should read the hour as the recipient clock rather than their own.

A Tulia service falling on a Sunday needs its flowers there on the Saturday before it, which puts the order in on the Friday. A set hour inside the window can be asked for at a Kress address, though it travels as a request and not as a promise.

An Address at Kress or Happy

A street number does most of the work, but out on the plains the parts people leave off cost a second attempt. A farm gate number is not always the house number, and a phone contact on the order is worth more than an extra line of directions.

Orders for Swisher Memorial Hospital want a room number and a full name. A vase left at a reception desk with only a surname on it sits there until somebody works out whose it is, and that is a day lost in a Swisher County town of this size.

This page covers 890 square miles for 6,877 people, so addresses stand a long way apart and a second run costs most of a day. Getting the order in early is worth more here than it would be in a town with streets close together.

A Get Well Order for Kress

Get well and new baby orders behave alike: a smaller arrangement travels home better than a tall one, and a vase that needs no trimming is one less job for the household. A birthday to a house in Kress can go at any hour of the window.

A thank you piece for a workplace is the awkward one, since it has to land while the desk is still in use. Sympathy orders run on a fixed clock instead, set by the hour the service starts rather than by the sender.

Picking a Shape for Tulia

Shape comes before color on a Tulia order, and it follows the room the flowers will stand in. A one-sided piece is made to sit against a wall, while an all-round arrangement is built for a table people sit around on every side.

Color is the last of the three and the one that changes least in Kress or Happy. A mixed arrangement reads from across a room, while a single-tone piece suits a small table that already has things standing on it.

Flower types are substituted for what the florist has that morning, with no change to the size, the shape or the value of a Swisher County order. Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge, which for a county of 6,877 people is worth having.

Swisher County meets Randall County, TX to the north and Hale County, TX to the south, each with a listing of its own. The town page for Happy sits under this one alongside Tulia and Kress, and the rest of Texas is at flower delivery across Texas, with every design in the catalog.
