Mitchell County, TX Flower Delivery

Three Towns Across Ninety Miles

Mitchell County holds 911 square miles of West Texas with about 8,968 people on it, which is roughly ten people to the square mile. An address at Loraine and an address at the lake are a long way apart even though both sit under this one page.

Deliveries land between 9 AM and 7 PM, and the further an address sits from the interstate the later in that stretch it usually falls. A particular hour can be requested on a Loraine order, though nobody is in a position to promise it.

Two ZIP codes cover the whole county, 79512 and 79532, which makes checking an address before ordering unusually quick. Lake Colorado City keeps its own town page even though the drive out there is short.

Addresses at Loraine and Colorado City

Mitchell County Hospital District takes flowers at its own reception rather than at the bedside, and Mitchell County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center works the same way. The resident's full name is what carries a piece past the counter, because rooms change hands far more often than names do.

Kiker Seale Funeral Home handles services at Colorado City. A standing spray wants floor space and two people to move it, so it belongs at the service, while a low vase is the better object for a house.

An apartment address anywhere in the county needs its unit number written out, and a workplace address needs the employer named beside the recipient. Neither costs anything on the order form, and both remove the most common reason a piece has to go out twice.

Same Day Orders at Loraine

Order before 1 PM Central time for same-day flower delivery to any Mitchell County, TX address, whether that sits inside 79512 at the seat or out at the lake. An order coming from the east coast has to clear an hour earlier than the clock on the sender's own wall suggests.

Flower delivery runs Monday through Saturday across all three Mitchell towns, and Sunday delivery is not available. A Sunday service at Colorado City has to be met on the Saturday before it, which is the single most useful thing to know a week out.

Holidays tighten the same line further. Around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter the same-day cutoff can fall earlier than 1 PM, so a West Texas address is better ordered for two days ahead than for the afternoon. The same is true of the week either side of a school holiday, when the roads out to the lake carry more traffic than usual.

Picking a Piece for a Small Room

The full catalog sorts by occasion before flower, which shortens a long list quickly when the address is one bedroom at a care home rather than a church hall. Width beats height on a bedside stand every time.

Flower types get substituted for what the florist has available, with no change to the size, shape or value ordered. Out here that is not a technicality: the market that a Colorado City florist buys from thins out sharply in high summer.

Once the arrangement is finished, a photo of it goes to the sender at no extra charge, which matters more when the sender has never seen the street. Howard County, TX lies to the west, and the rest of the state sits on the Texas county index.
